Rush Limbaugh Suggests Conservative States Are ‘Trending Toward Secession’
“There cannot be a peaceful coexistence” between liberals and conservatives, radio host said on his show Wednesday
Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh said Wednesday that “there cannot be peaceful coexistence” between liberals and conservatives and right-leaning states are “trending toward secession.”
Asked about the chances that Republicans could win major national elections without the need for “taking back blue cities,” the host responded that his party had already done so in the past.
“I actually think that we’re trending toward secession,” he stated. “I see more and more people asking, ‘What in the world do we have in common with the people who live in, say, New York?'”
He questioned why Republicans outside of the blue cities would “believe that there is enough of us there” to even have a shot at winning in those areas, but was hesitant to say he actually agreed with the idea that the states should secede. (Note: President-elect Biden flipped five red states — Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona, Pennsylvania and Georgia — due to large turnouts in blue cities).
By his observation, the schools of thought around America’s two primary parties are just too different for voters or lawmakers to find common ground.
“There cannot be a peaceful coexistence of two completely different theories of life, theories of government, theories of how we manage our affairs,” he said. “We can’t be in this dire a conflict without something giving somewhere along the way so I know that there is a sizable and growing sentiment for people who believe that that is where we’re headed whether we want to go there or not.”
For the record, President-elect Biden flipped five red states to blue in November: Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona, Pennsylvania and Georgia.

I am deadly serious here .... if there are Cult of Trump followers (and there are) who truly, honestly, genuinely believe that one political party has a "deep state" operation/organization that is so insidious and so deeply imbedded into our country at state and federal level that it can literally steal an election while simultaneously crushing all legal challenges despite (what they believe to be) clear and overwhelming evidence that the election was stolen ..... they must wake up every day terrified.

One side or the other only has to sway the vote totals in 4-5 states, which means you could do that in 4-5 cities.
No. Because having swayed the vote corruptly/illegally in those 4 or 5 cities ... you then have to corrupt and silence or have complicity from every person who reviews and investigates and touches the election and those results. And when the amount of court filings and accusations that Trump has brought ... somewhere somebody is going to talk or see and produce evidence.
It's insanity - literally lunatic stuff to try and believe this crap. Trying to downplay it to the smallest possible "well, it could just be this" is disingenuous or simply not thought through. There is a giant microscope over EVERY precinct, every ballot, every individual.

What did you guys expect? Trump constantly put over half the country down calling us every name he could think of and demonizing us... Sound familiar? Then he threatened to run for a third term... He did not hide his fascism or love of dictators... He was blatantly and openly racist on many occasions... He purposefully did things for all four years just to "own the libs"... But Trump supporters somehow thought we would all lay down and let him win again? Completely delusional.
