COVID-19 interrupts college football’s longest series https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/20...longest-series/Wisconsin and Minnesota have played every year. For 113 years. This year, they won’t play. Via ESPN.com, Saturday’s game between Minnesota and Wisconsin has been canceled, after Minnesota paused all team activities in response to COVID-19 cases in the program. The game, which decides the possessor of the Paul Bunyan Trophy, will be ruled a no contest, and it won’t be rescheduled. The two schools met every year from 1907 through 2019. It’s the third cancellation of the season for Wisconsin. It’s just the latest twist in an unpredictable college season that has seen plenty of canceled games. In contract, the NFL has made it through 11 full weeks with all games played. Things will get no easier in the aftermath of Thanksgiving, as millions disregard a CDC recommendation to not travel for the holiday.

GC. Oh my gosh. That Auburn Alabama game where Auburn returned the kick in the last second to win the game.
Looking back, Internet calls it the Kick 6 Auburn Alabama.
2013, I think it may just be
The Greatest single play in College Football history.
Reading about it, what it meant. If that play doesn't exist, I can't think of another play that means as much as that one did.
Such a thing of beauty for anyone who wasn't rooting for Alabama of course.
In the 80's as a kid I appreciated both these teams, so in the "Iron bowl" i'll root for the underdog each time.
I mean, I've always loved Alabama, they are probably my 2nd favorite football team of College football, as I don't really have one, but only when they are not frontrunners, Whenever Alabama has been frontrunners, I've rooted agasint them.
Certainly in regular season college football, that Kick 6 may be the biggest single play. DANG that's beautiful.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

Alabama is up 7-0 not important, what is important, I think,
Check this out, Earlier, An Auburn Receiver alligator armed a pass, somewhere, I want to say the goal line but not sure, I am sure I shouted out that he short armed it, all he had to do was reach up and ...
Then,
Right there, Alabama goes up on a wide open deep 30 through the air 30 on the ground 60 yard pass, that could very eaaily have been overthrown if the Bama Wr would have chosen not to go arms over head to reach up for it and make that catch in stride, over his head.
Point is: The entire difference in the score of this game, 7-0 vs 0-7 is two chances, and one wr Aligator armed the chance and one Wr Went after the ball.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

Haha man thats something I haven’t seen
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Great story seeing the Chanticleers about to beat BYU.
Local 92.3 radio host Dustin Fox (and former Buckeye) on the broadcast as well.

Yo Mac Jones from Alabama looks legit.

Oregon is trailing cal ... the PAC12 is always so underwhelming

Yo Mac Jones from Alabama looks legit. He is. Lawrence and Felds get most of the press, but there are 5-6-7 QB's who could end up pretty darn good NFL QB's.

I’ll say this. Everyone piled on the Bucks for not completely rolling a ranked Indiana. Meanwhile Va Tech gave Clemson all they could handle through 3 quarters yesterday. No mention by the talking heads thus far. I guess the Trevor Lawrence lovefest won’t allow for it.

If I’m ranking the teams:
1. Alabama 2. Clemson 3. Ohio State 4. Notre Dame 5. Florida 6. Texas A+M
How they will rank them this Tuesday:
1. Alabama 2. Notre Dame 3. Clemson 4. Ohio State 5. Texas A+M 6. Florida

I haven't seen a beatdown like this Arizona St/Arizona game maybe ever. It's 63-7 with 4min left in the 3rd. I'm not really watching, but every time I look up Arizona State either just scored or is inside the 10 ready to punch it in. Neither team has won a game this year.

Make that 70-7.
The game started out and ended disastrous for Arizona.
I watched a bit of the 1st half. It became unwatchable.
Nevada vs San Jose St should be a good game.

I dont see how Kevin Sumlin sticks there It's crazy how much his stock has fallen. When he was the head coach at Texas A&M with Manziel he was a rockstar.

The 2020 Navy squad makes the 0-16 Browns team look like the 2007 Patriots. They are completely inept in all areas.
Browns is the Browns
... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.

GC, a little on the first half of the Miami v North Carolina game:
I think, I saw a bad day in seeing the first half of the Miami db's; to say the least
1, they lose contain and can't hold the outside edge for a 70 yard run
2, they do it again. and I think it's more the Miami Defense then the North Carolina, runner, but i'll give the runner this, He was quick, and he had one outside step, but basically an error on the defense if it's baseball scoring.
3. they get beat over the top on a 60 yds through the air pass, and it's caught for a gain, only not a td because momentum carried them all toward the sideline iirc.
The point I'm intending to make is, Sometimes you see offenses and players power through by making blocks, or breaking arm tackles, or demonstrating elusiveness
and other times you see a real bad defense and a fast runner just run.
This was the 2nd option. 3 separate times, except the receiver did track the ball pretty well.

Florida looks like it’s about to go down to LSU. I know they’re missing Pitts, but their defense was very pedestrian

For those that didn't see it, Florida stopped LSU to force a punt with the game tied and 3+ min. left. Then Wilson of Florida picked up an LSU players shoe and threw it, resulting in a 15 yard penalty and an LSU first down. LSU went down and kicked a 57 yard field goal which won the game.

It seems like Dabo has become even more outspoken and controversial over the past year or so. He likes to make a splash IMO

Dabo is one annoying individual. I like Dabo, can't blame the guy for pimping his conference. I don't think he's right though, especially now. I'll be honest, if it was Northwestern that had OSU's record and had played their schedule, I might be a little more skeptical of giving them a shot at a national championship... but it's Ohio State. I think in this case you get some legacy points for being as good as you have for as long as you have and, assuming you finish undefeated, you get to play in the conference championship game and the national championship game.

After today Here is how it should end up:
1. BAMA (If they beat FLA) 2. Clemson 3. OSU 4. ND/TA&M
I still think the CFP need to go to 8 teams ...
