Decisions, decisions. tongue

Screw it - I'll post them both.

Weird band, weirder songs, weirdest videos. All the while, you get to witness Les Claypool, one of the greatest bassists in the world.

I always thought In A Gadda Da Vida was strange

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

In the Garden of Eden.

I saw this performed live on TV back with my first experiment with a little purple pill in the mid 70's. Check out the keyboard player.

Oh, man... I forgot all about these guys.
Sparks. Yeah, they were actually a thing with my musnerdcrowd-for about 20 minutes.

Love the 'audience reaction shot' at 2:25. Blank stares aplenty.

They were.... "an acquired taste."
One I never actually acquired.

thanks for this one. I owe you.

I was unable to find video links that are good representations of their "weirdness", but these three bands come to mind:

- Ultimate Spinach

- Incredible String Band

- Aquarium Rescue Unit
(Col. Hampton headed some other good ones as well)

ARU was weird. I caught them a couple times back in the late 90’s. Everyone of those guys was/is at nearly a genius level on their respective instruments. They played in such weird time signatures, interweaving bluegrass, jazz, southern sounds, and pretty much any other genre into a whirling chaos of out there music. RIP Colonel Bruce. You were a legend.

Oh, s#.

How tight is this mess?
My goodness gracious, these boys know how to rock a party.

This is the stuff that gets me going. I can't help it. Stank-funky rhythm sections, squeaky-tight horns... there is nothing better.

I love this music.

To be honest, I don't call music weird.

Music is a art form. To me, either you like it or you don't.
