Chargers at Raiders tonight
Could the Chargers do us a favor please??

I'd rather have the Raiders tonight... then they're playing for something next week vs the Dolphins.
Raiders can go ahead and win out. If we're worried about a 10-6 tie-breaker, that won't be the only one that keeps us out.

I think I agree. If the Raiders lose tonight, they are done. The Raiders at home against Miami with something left to play for sounds like a better scenario. Tying the Raiders in record and losing the tie breaker means we lost to the Giants. If we lose to the Giants we deserve to stay home.

Because none of the wildcard teams have 10 wins. Once 3 teams have either 10 wins or own tie breakers over them they will officially be out.

Browns win 1 game, any 1 game... and the Dolphins lose to either the Patriots, the Raiders, or the Bills.. and the Browns are in the playoffs.

Browns have no clinching options if they win and any single team, or even combination of teams lose this week.
Best case scenario for Browns reads,
Pats beat dolphins
Browns beat Giants
Bengals beat Steelers.
Bottom line, if Browns win only 1 more, they'll need some other team or teams to lose twice.
As your option says, ... if the Browns win 1 more, any 1 more, and the Dolphins lose to
1. patriots only, or
2, Bills only,
Browns are still eliminated, possibly with playoff teams
Dolphins,
Ravens
Colts
Titans
Bills
Steelers
Chiefs.
Browns, must win all 3 or 2 and hope other teams lose,
if the Browns only win 1,
then some club has to lose 2 of 3.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

If we win two of next 3 and dolphins do the same then we should be good. That would put us at 11-5 and them at 10-6

Thanks Chargers. Raiders are all but out ... unless we lose all 3 (and in that case we don’t deserve the playoffs), then they can’t knock us out.
We’re going to have four teams for three spots:
Cleveland
Baltimore
Indianapolis/Tennessee
Miami

This game had little effect on the Browns' playoff outlook unless we lose 2 of our last 3 (in which case we would need a good bit of help anyway). Either the Colts, Titans, Ravens or Dolphins would also have to lose 2 of their last three. would also have to lose 2 of their last three.
Don't get me wrong, it's nice to have a cushion, but I'd rather not end the season with a 1-3 record in the final quarter of the year.

That was unexpected. The Chargers are terrible, but Herbert is quite good. If I was a team in need of a franchise QB I'd sign Tyrod Taylor as my starter............then draft a guy. It will all work out in the end.
