Drove me nuts all year.

Guys lining up out of position, getting to the LOS with 6 seconds of play clock, false starts....


...maddening.

This team has virtually none of that this year. Basically the same roster; very different product.

"What could be the difference?" we ask.

In most cases that would be true. In this one? Are you serious?

I saw an NFL "mic'd" segment where Njoku was complaining to Mayfield about being open on the TD pass to Landry. Baker looked at a Surface Pro and came back and told Njoku he was right, but stumbled coming out of his break which caused the pass to go Landry's way. Njoku mumbled something, and Baker said "Don't stumble." Pretty funny, but disconcerting too in a way.

Njoku's body language has been pretty bad this year.

They were obviously joking around.

I recall during the telecast the announcers questioning why he didn't throw to the open Njoku underneath.... now we know. Announcers miss things all the time, or just plain get things wrong all the time... even the good ones. It's pretty cool to get such a clear understanding of why things happened on a given play... and it tells us just how FAST decisions are made. You're the first read but you stumble? BOOM, I'm already looking to the next guy and moving myself to get a window.

That sure doesn't seem like the right way to let your QB know that YOU were open on a TD play...seems crazy selfish.

Glad that Baker engaged him on it, but still let him have it a little.

DN was open, but we got the TD, so don’t come whining to me about it. DN might have dropped it anyway.

Bring all 4 TE's back next year, it's what got them to the playoffs the last 4 times they went to the playoffs.

Only decision is if they bring in a challenger for Carlson or not.

Anything else would be uncivilized. But, Browns?

(explain: in 94, 01, 07, and this year, ( I know 07 no pl), they had 4 TE's or #3 was good,

And every other year, they did not. Every other year they only had 2, 2 and a half good TE's or less.

Looks like he'll get the chance for looks against the jets.

Him stepping up this week covers up for many of the times where he disappeared or showed up in av bad way.
