Wendys' has a chicken sandwich, a few months ago it was about the same,
now it is about the same but comes with 3 pickles.

I kind of figure the fda or the govt somehow is probably trying to grow alien dna in people by putting pickles on cheeseburgers, and since people don't eat cheeseburgers as much as chicken sandwiches anymore they have to shove the pickles on.

Easily some nefarious motive imo.

I wouldn't mind pickles if they were my idea, or even if they suggested them and told me the benefits. I just feel that my whole life, every burger chain puts unwanted pickles on a sandwich.
1. They taste horrible! Who could ever love a pickles flavor?

2, They ruin anything around them.

And like a Mcdonalds cheeseburger? I know, I'm the only one of 49 billion ever to eat there, but, that mustard is nasty too, and unnecessary.

Why do people, bake, cook, assemble foods, which are sour and bland and offensive tasting,

one of the largest though, is the force addition of pickles by every burger chain on cheeseburgers.

Which was a bonus for ordering Chicken sandwiches for the last 25 years, because, at least you don't get pickles on it.

But then, NOw? Pickles on chicken sandwiches.

It's not broccoli, it's not some other health beneficial food, there must be some dubious reason I think.

Yes to pickles on a chicken sandwich... unless it somehow knocks the Browns out of the playoffs. Note to Chik-fil-a, how 'bout three pickle chips instead of two? I want pickle in every bite. Note to everyone else -- please don't stack all the pickles in one corner of the sandwich, be a sandwich artist, not a slacker!

It takes two kinds of people to have a successful relationship in this world.. one that says, "I don't want my pickle" and another who says, "I'll take that pickle"

If you pass that test, you have a reasonable chance at a happy and lasting marriage.

I will always take the pickle...

I just saw a commercial for a poppeye's chicken sandwich with the pickles, big pickles on the bottom.

I assumed I'd have the regular line,
(just pick them off)

(just take the pickles off)

(If you don't like them just pick them off, line that everyone always says)

So Here is my agenda. For anyone who thinks that and hasn't yet posted it.

Some years ago I realized that not everyone, like me, loves mushrooms, actually, the more I talked about it, I found at least half the people I talked to hated mushrooms.

Well I love mushrooms most ways, (and I ain't talking about drugs, I don't do drugs)
But I could eat mushrooms more preferably than candy!

But we don't live in a country, where every food chain that sells a sandwich, 9 out of 10, with the 10th one starting soon, where they all put mushrooms on my hamburger, or chicken sandwich.

(Man that thought sounds delicious)

Mushrooms have flavor, they are grown in pooh but I don't care, I dunno, I don't know how any foods are made, they must be safe before they get to us.

Mushrooms with gravy, white mushrooms dry, loose dark mushrooms not stacked in a corner, but spaced out over the sandwich.

And for all those pickle sandwich lovers, if any of them just hate mushrooms.

Think about living in a country where they just add mushrooms to about every burger you can think off, and now chicken sandwiches too, without warning, without advertising.

Even a bacon sandwich, (a bacon cheeseburger doesn't come with pickles, YET!) Sure it won't be long, they'll take the tomato off, and put pickles on the bottom or something, and call it "new and improved" .

I can eat pickles on almost any type of sandwich.

I love mushrooms on many different sandwiches but never at the same time as pickles.

Tomatoes are useless, they are awful. The flavor, the texture, the add nothing and detract from everything. Stewed in chili or spaghetti sauce? Perfect, love it.

Raw tomatoes? Only good use is throwing them at bad comedians.

I had to change the line from
" for all those pickle lovers" to
"for all those pickle sandwich lovers"

because, ya, how it sounds.

Back when I was young, southern style shredded chicken sandwiches always came with pickle. Our school used to serve a really bland shredded chicken sandwich with pickle too. So it is normal to me.

Except for there is this one meal waiting, 1400 miles away. rolleyesdevil fingerscrossed

and part of it is a huge, perfectly carved, sweet pickle, but, on the side, part of a salad that you get, not hidden under a bun for you to stumble upon.

I'll take your tomatoes.

As long as you don't take that as us having a successful relationship. I mean it's not like it's a pickle.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Is there any possibility that the subtle move to slip pickles on nearly every sandwich is part of a larger plot to eventually just replace the bun altogether?

The pickle slices will be the new bun in a carb conscious world!

Pickles on a Chic Fil A is fine.

I used to love pickles - on sandwiches. I don't anymore though.

IF i eat at McDonalds, I get a burger and take the pickles off. I don't request it without - no problem to just peel them off.

At restaurants, if getting sandwiches that have pickles, and if my daughter is there - she takes them.

She loves pickles and often times, when she was younger and I had to get her up and get breakfast, I'd let her have a whole dill pickle for breakfast. Yup.

I think eating any properly preserved and fermented food is good for you. The oldtimers ate a lot of fermented foods and were much less sick than today in terms of cancer, etc. But even if it does nothing but reinvigorate your gut flora, it's still good for that much.

Pickles are an acquired taste if you weren't raised on them like we were. I can't imagine never having tasted or eaten one. But I can see how somebody as an adult trying them for the first time would find them horrendous.

Extra pickles and extra tomato on my burgers, and extra burgers on my chicken sandwich.

For yall that don't know what a Pickleback is....

You take a shot of whiskey (traditionally Jameson) and chase it with a shot of pickle juice.

It sounds gross, but it's actually really good. The pickle juice balances it so nicely.

That must be some really cheap, nasty whiskey if you need pickle juice to balance it. sick smile

With regards to the original topic question, if you like pickles, yes. If you don't, no.

It depends on the pickles and the kind of sandwich for me. I like variety.

If it's a "spicy" chicken sandwich, pickles can be a nice accent. If it's BBQ and crispy onions, no need for pickles.

I like pickles on a chicken sandwich. In general, I like pickles. Dill thank-you.

After finishing a jar, I keep the remaining juice in the fridge. A big swig of that in the morning is a good thing. Pickle juice is the best if you suffer from cramps. Swig it down and the cramps go away.
