The Cleveland Browns have placed WR Rashard Higgins, WR KhaDarel Hodge, WR Jarvis Landry, WR Donovan Peoples-Jones and LB Jacob Phillips on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.*

In addition, the club has elevated (Contagious Disease Addendum) WR Ja'Marcus Bradley, LB Montrel Meander and WR Derrick Willies from the practice squad.

Bradley, 6-1, 198 pounds, is an undrafted rookie out of Louisiana-Lafayette. He has been a member of the team's practice squad since Week 1 and has appeared in two games this season. At Louisiana-Lafayette, Bradley saw action in 52 career games, catching 160 passes for 2,359 yards (fourth-most in Louisiana-Lafayette history) and 23 touchdowns (second in program annals). A native of Ackerman, Miss., Bradley will wear No. 84.

Meander (pronounced ME-ander) is 6-2, 215 pounds and officially in his first NFL season out of Grambling State. Originally signed by the Browns as an undrafted free agent in 2018, Meander has appeared in two games this season as a reserve. A native of Amarillo, Texas, Meander will wear No. 41.

Willies is 6-4, 207 pounds and in his second NFL season out of Texas Tech. He was originally signed by the Browns as an undrafted free agent in 2018. He has appeared in five career games and logged three receptions for 61 yards. He was signed to the Browns practice squad on Nov. 17. Willies hails from San Bernadino, Calif. and will wear No. 16.

*This reserve list category was created for a player who either tests positive for COVID-19 or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person or persons. Per agreed upon NFL-NFLPA policy, clubs are not permitted to comment on player's medical status other than referring to roster status. Clubs may not disclose whether player is in quarantine or is positive for COVID-19.

Willies and Baker did have a good connection when he was here last.

#Browns  are going to be playing a bunch of practice squad players at receiver tomorrow but I believe Baker will get through it ok. Having Chubb and Hunt is going to be key. Have faith!

Your kidding right? Really? Missing two starting LINEBACKERS all starting receivers . We have a bunch of practice squad players being brought up that are probably pooping thier pants right now. And you think we will win with ease? Baker has no chemistry with these receivers and I doubt they know the play book as well as they should. All we can do is run the ball and the jets know it and wll stack the line and stop the run. With no fear of the pass. The jets should also have no issue moving the ball on us at will. I dont care if it's the jets. Our defense is not very good to start with now we are missing two starting linebackers

How many have tested positive though? This is unreal....call me paranoid all you want I dont care. Less than 24 hours fro. Game time and you have to change your entire gameplan? IS IT REALLY PARANOID FOR ME TO THINK THE NFL DOES not want us in playoffs?! We have had players with covid throughout the season yes. However never has anything like this happened to us all year and now about 18 hours away from a game we can't afford to lose this happened? So far only one player test positive and the nfl makes all starting receivers go on covid list?! Bs

Only Goodson has tested positive at this point. I think you are being paranoid about the NFL not wanting the Browns in the playoffs. This situation is the same as the Broncos when they lost all of their QBs

Actually, the nfl does want the browns in the playoffs. We have one of the largest fan bases in the world.

If Baker and Stefanski don't flinch, neither will the rest of the team. I don't think they will. My guess is Baker treats it as some type of personal challenge.

Go 2 TE sets with Chub in the backfield. Hodge on one side and put Hunt out wide on the other. Let’s go get this and hopefully everyone will be back next week when we play for the division title!!

All of the practice squad WRs are big bodies... if they can run good routes, Baker will find them.

i think because a lot of players actually HAD it .. in our case only one tested positive and the contacts were traced efficiently

From my understanding they had 20+ positive tests and nearly the rest of the team was in contact tracing. They postponed it until the rest of the team cleared tracing. They still played with a large part of their starters missing including Jackson.
