Funny, I don't want to win as much for the Tribe as I do just to keep Boston mouths shut. It is irritating.

The reason I like our chances in game 7 is because Dice-K is a broken player. He has absolutely NO confidence what so over. While tonight was incredibly disappointing our offense better smell blood tomorrow and jump all over Matsuzaka.
Laffey could be the unsung hero in all this. Aaron could save our bullpen for tomorrow. I would guess Carmona is available for at-least 2-3 innings if needed.

Well Brian, Fight Club is on Cinemax if anything  I have a ton of HW to do so I shut the game off. Maybe next time I turn it on we will be back in it with a 7 run inning again. It can happen

Sadly, I think I'd root for the red sox over the rockies. Mainly because I work with a bunch of bandwagon Rockies fans. Haven't heard a peep out of them all season, then they sweep the ncls and I see Rockies stuff all over their desks now.

I had no idea just how bad Carmona is in Fenway. Should have started him Thursday and pitched Westy tonite. Brydie tomorrow. Now we have to sweat it out waiting on whatever Jake shows up. He's a roller coaster,....
How bad could it have been,.....3-3 ??
And Hafner now on an 0-15 streak.
The only true statement that can be made now is "This series is over."

Great movie, but I don't have Cinemax. I opted instead to watch some horrible sequel to Texas Chainsaw Massacre with Mathew McConaghey (sp?) and Renee Zelwegger. Man, that was a lame movie.
I just couldn't sit there and watch the Tribe just crapping the series away, looking like some scared little girls out there.

Wedge has to assume our cold bats are going to remain cool.
I would play some small ball early to try to get a lead. If we fall behind by more than 1 run, it will be a tough go.
Carmona might pitch better being tired. I don't know what we fed that guy last night, but you could see his neck veins pumping last night. The guy was way too pumped up.
For Haftner, he is pressing.
How I would handle him is I wouldn't let him take more than 10 swings at live pitching in BP today. Anything else would be some soft toss and tee work into a net. Sometimes practice isn't a good thing.

OK this is not directed at any single person. I have not seen such a large batch of crying babies gathered together in one place since I was on the maternity floor of the hospital. BOO HOO poor us, we tied for the best record in baseball this year, we are playing the team that we tied with the best record. We are 3-3 VS them with a chance to go to the world series. Yet all I hear is WAAAA, WAAAAAA, WAAAAA.  Those of you who gave up on the Tribe and ripped on every player back in august, and are doing so now should be  I only hope you don't give up on your life and your family like you have on the Tribe. First remember this is BASEBALL any team can win any given game. A player who went 0-4 with four K's the night before can go 4-4 with 2 homers the next night. Any pitcher can throw a no hitter one time out, and get rocked the next time out. Strap on a set, stop your crying, quit giving up like a crying little baby. The Tribe has had a great season so far, and it's not over yet. Will we win tonight? Will we lose tonight? Who knows, but it's been a great ride, and those of you who have given up and jumped off the wagon don't deserve to get back on.  As for me, I believe the Tribe will win tonight just like I predicted in the 7th game.

I didn't see people jumping off the bandwagon.
I saw people discussing a bad game by the Tribe...our bats were shut down and the pitching wasn't effective.

As an outsider, I agree. I logged on last night just to see it as a matter of fact. Not surprisingly, I wasn't disappointed.

Nobody likes to lose, but that is no excuse. I said "the series is over" because as of this evening, it will be for someone. Wasn't directed at the Tribe.
Unlike some who actually stopped watching, I stayed for every pitch.
Even though my new flag might be bad luck and ill-timed, it's staying up. The Tribe can win this. It's actually more important than beating the Rockies.
Hopefully it will just be about getting to Matzusaka early,....and never seeing Joe.

Thank you GM... There's still baseball left to be played. Anyways, it's been a great year as an Ohio sports fan. Three times we've shown up in the championship game, and this could be our fourth. And instead of it, all I've heard is complaints. Now I don't like Manny very much, but he hit the nail right on the head for me... If we lose it will not be the end of the world. Like you said, we have had a great run... And I sure hope your prediction is correct. I'll direct this towards everyone who's been saying how "worthless" C.C. and Fausto have been: Without them, we wouldn't even be in this position. It's funny how people are so willing to jump on the back of people who've worked to get the team this far. I'm watching Major League today before the game.
I want the Cleveland Browns to be my pallbearers so they can let me down for the last time.
