Just a lil update,,the lil woman went to the doctor yesterday and was told it's now down to the wire. She was told her water could break virtually anyday now, she is 75% efaced and 2CM dialated. These numbers were zero's last week and her blood pressure shot up which the doc says is an indication her body is getting ready to deliver! <img src="/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

The realities are finally setting in that I am going to have another rug rat around here <img src="/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> It's weird, I never really thought about this one like I did our first, not saying it isn't as important or anything but it never really kicked in till I was in the shower this morning that I am going to be a father again. Then the fears that go along with a newborn start kicking in, the lack of sleep, ugh, but that point when she will be just born, man thats some good stuff right there! I just hope she can hold off till after Sunday. Ali was born on the Browns home opener in 2003 and I was in real bad shape from the night before, hehe, Nugent from 60 yards to beat Marshall! Hopefully this time I won't be at the game Sunday or worse after the game when I got me a buzzy buzz <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Anywho, I have been thinking about this all morning so I thought I would share. When she is born I will let ya know <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I know what you mean about the second one though. My two were pretty close together (17 months) so there is a lot less worry and anxiety since you have already been through it. A lot less geting prepared too since you still have the stuff from the first one. Your kind of lucky in the fact that you are having another girl since you already have all the girly stuff.

I got three kids, each birth was diffrent and each one special in it's own way, as is the child. You'll do fine, from reading on here we can tell your a good dad, dont worry, every kids diffrent so everything you've learned form the first wont work with the second, so you'll have to learn new things all over....LOL, it's true just wait, Enjoy this time, cherish every minute, kids grow up to fast, it seems yesterday mine were little, now my first is 20, son is 15 and youngest is 13. good luck and have fun.....I know you will <img src="/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif" alt="" />

Just not Christmas Eve please hehe. She was going to go to the game but she blew up the past few weeks and is carrying a giant basketball around so she isn't coming now <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> I just don't want to get the call in the 2nd quarter "my water broke, ahhh" hehe
It is keeping me from going to my bitch sister-in-laws house though, muhahaha!

Well, I do kinda feel sorry for her because I've known some people over the years that were Christmas babies and they all said the same thing....it sucks cuz it doesn't seem like their birthday with Christmas at the same time. Woohoo! I'll be hoping everything goes well for the baby and your family. Keep us posted. My nephew's birthday is the 22nd, so that's a good day to have it! He was actually due on Christmas, but they induced her on purpose so she would be home for Christmas (his mom has another son and wanted to be home with him).

ya know what... that pissed me off more then anything! I hated that as a kid... My birthday is jan 2 so yeah... I told my parents I wanted my birthday june 2 so i could get treated the same as every other kid in the school. the only problem was... I always got 2 presents on my birthday whereas my friends would get 5-6. And it always seemed all I got was x-mas presents. Plus we really didn't have any parties b/c it was too much for my parents. So if it was up to me... I'd change the kids b-day and move it a forward or back... Or go shopping for them in June so you have enough to give them when it comes time for their birthday!

Eh, she's doing. Couple more setbacks. <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

They're talking about putting in a feeding tube since her growth is so far behind. Her feeding habits are still the same. She refuses to drink her bottle, so we still are sneaking it in when she falls asleep. She went to the pediatrician Monday and at 6 1/2 months, she weighed 10lbs. 15oz. But he said her eyes still cross somewhat. Not bad, but you can notice it. He said if it's like that after 6 months, she needs to see an opthamologist. Which she did Tuesday, and she said her vision isn't wear it should be, thus she has a little trouble focusing which is why her eyes may cross a bit. So she has to get freakin' glasses. They couldn't even find a pair to fit. They had to call the company. So after the first of the year, she'll have lil' baby glasses. And hopefully that corrects it, otherwise it may take surgery. <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> But she's as cute as ever! <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> She's adorable. I look at her everyday and think, wow, how'd I make such a pretty baby? I just get frustrated. I feel bad for her, although she seems to be a very content little girl.

lol, actually I have a radio in my bathroom and this song came on and I started thinking about it. For the past few months I have had a lot of stress and I tried not to think about the new baby too much. I am a worrier and I just kinda blocked it out.

017, hang in there bud! I know what you are saying about being amazed that you could make something so beautiful. I look at my daughter and am just shocked that I helped create that, it's so great.

No Michelle, nothing more yet except an increase in contractions. Thank God too b/c I had my company christmas party yesterday and threw down waaay too many beers. If should would have went into labor I would have been in bad shape, again, hehe. She is a maniac around here cleaning and going anywhere she can to walk and help move things along. I just sit back and let her go b/c she is pretty emotional at this stage of the game <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I try not to worry but thats the way I am. When I think of the baby coming I get that feeling in my stomach like something is going to go wrong, even though I truly believe the best. I got a bad blow about maybe going to Iraq too ontop of everything hanging over my head so emotionally I am a wreck <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> I just finally told the wife too and that didn't go over well <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Speaking of thinking about your little girl. Listen to the song ZOE JANE by Staind. Any father with a little girl this song will hit you right in the heart. I have to admit I cant sing along with it because I get choked up when I do.
