The fact we have 4% of the world's population and over 19% of Covid deaths is obviously China's fault. They knew all along that Trump would screw everything up and that we had millions of stupid Americans.

Or wait, back it up, it's not Trump, but his supporters that are 100% responsible, that way it's more personal and they can all wear the scarlet letter "s", for shame. Seems like we could just as easily pin all of the responsibility on his mother, right? I mean, she gave birth. I'd like to pin the smallest fraction, say maybe 2%, on Hillary Clinton being a career criminal and being too smug to even try to win an election that the internets told her she already won. Actually take 100% of that 2% and blame her supporters... for dancing in the isles weeks before the votes were counted, and then sobbing like petulant children when the election didn't go their way. If you're having a hard time tying this all together -- it's now official, they helped cause Covid.

So now, through the power of an internet message board, it's Trump supporters that are 98%, and Clinton supporters that are 2% responsible for a football team losing players and coaches nearly a year after a pandemic begins. A pandemic in which every human with an IQ over 12 knows exactly what to do to prevent contact and spread.

I don't come here much. Usually it's for the morning funny... the daily "can't make this crap up", and the constant quest to see how many posts I have to read before I spray my coffee. This one was actually worth typing a few words between sips. Today was easy, first thread, first post! Hats off to you OCD, now I can move on with my day!

GOPers have a really hard time sticking to facts and bringing receipts to the debate. Had Trump and his anti mask supporters acted like educated, civil, compassionate human beings instead of complete fools then we simply would not be here... with 350K deaths... with vaccines we can't get out for lack of a plan... with super spreaders running rampant... with Millions infected... with healthcare on its' last legs... with the Browns getting hurt now by this Trump disease.

We might not be as deep as WE are, but I doubt that it would be eradicated or even a non-issue.

This is a worldwide issue, not just US. And unless we banned all travel to and from anywhere, including across state lines, this thing will just keep making the rounds.

Oh it would certainly be an issue. It's not as if Covid would have been eradicated.

What is certainly something I do however find beyond dispute is the fact that we have 4% of the worlds population yet 19% of the worlds Covid deaths.

I feel saying we could have handled this disaster much better is quite the understatement.

If we didn't do testing, though, we wouldn't know that the deaths were from COVID and we'd be far further down the list.

100 percent? There are a bunch liberal types around here that do not social distance correctly and complain about the restrictions. Our liberal education system is constantly pushing to reopen the schools, knowing full well that it is impossible to maintain proper distancing. I posted a pic here a while back of a ridiculously crowded hallway at a local HS. Somebody was responsible for that, and it wasn't Trump supporters. You might want to temper that 100% number a bit.
