All the Talking heads Monday Morning if the Browns beat the Chiefs
John 3:16 Jesus said "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
it simply comes down to Mahomes, Kelce and Hill. They are going to force our O to be extremely efficient ... basically, we’ can only afford to punt 1-2 times tops. We can’t afford the bad TO’s or big sacks. Gotta score AND control the ball.
I see it as we’re playing the Steelers WITH a high potent offense.
It is doable .. we DO have the parts, but our margin for error is small.
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."
We may have some X factors in our favor. Run game, better passing, return of more players.
Feeling momentum our way, but this won't be a laugher like last week. They can be hurt, so they can be had. Our guineas gonna have to shock their Goliaths.
I stand fully prepared to win another one this week. Who plays harder? Go,Browns!

Wish I could watch the Raiders / Chiefs game. Maybe I'll look for it. Raiders forced FIVE punts and an INT. Very much out of character for the Chiefs.
They won the game in the trenches... forced three sacks and three holds. Mahommes ran like a chicken all day against a simple four-man front. Doing that would make a lot more sense than trying to come out on top of a scoreboard that's ringing like a pinball machine.
The Chiefs have had chunks of quarters/halves where they’ve been uninspiring (at Miami, vs Carolina, vs Las Vegas, etc) ... I think they get a little complacent and their OL has been banged up. Plus, there are times when Mahomes plays hero ball a bit too much.
It’s not an impossible feat, but our O has to be dynamite

Do you know what I still can't imagine? That we are in the playoffs the divisional round no less and the Pats are sitting home!!!! That is unimaginable; BUT TRUE!!!!!!
If any of that is remotely true, we need to get an oxygen tank strapped to Garrett's back or something.
There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.
Yes I can imagine a win and what the media would do/say.
I think we can win.
As someone said:
Mahomes - arguably the best QB in the league. Top 4 for certain. Hill - One of the fastest players in the game. Top 4 or 5 WR. Kelce - The best TE in the game.
Having Harrison back at safety helps enormously. 6'3" - no idea how well he can cover ... but he can cover Kelce better than Sandejo, Joseph or Redwine for certain.
There is EVERY chance that KC come out and do to the Cleveland D what Bama did to the Buckeyes. The difference will be that we have every chance to score bunches of points also.
The more things change the more they stay the same.
MGH, agree, and if Fields had played to his potential in that game, it might have been interesting. Same here. If we get Baker from late in the Cincy game, Baltimore game, or early Tenn game, we can hang, and then who knows.

If we get the team from the playoff game we will be fine. That team showed up to be physical and win!
MGH and BAD, I agree Baker and the team played well this past week, but they need to be even better. We had 4 3-&-outs last week (ok, one was a 4-&-out). We simply cannot afford to have those drives this week. And don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that's all on Baker. Higgins and Hooper both had some bad drops that cannot happen this week.

When did those 3 and outs occur? What was going on with the game / lead / play calling at the time?
I agree we need to be at the top of our game ... but when you have a huge lead in a game (as we have seen KS's m.o. all season) you don't show other teams more plays than you need to and you chew clock. My belief is that we could have scored another 2 TDs on Pit if we had wanted to. We went conservative on D and on O because of the in-game dynamics. When Pit got a little momentum in the 3rd Q we went back to throwing and moving the ball "at will". Just how I saw it.
The more things change the more they stay the same.
Ward mirrors Hill Mitchell mirrors Watkins Johnson mirrors Hardman
I’d honestly bracket Kelce with Smith and Joseph/Harrison ... he’s THAT important to their offense

That's kinda the crux of it right there... like us, they have too much talent to be able to cover everything all the time with Zone, so you have to try to man-up on them more often, but even so in the above we still don't have much left to cover Helaire out of the backfield. I'm not worried about LeVeon Bell, but that other cat scares me a bit.
We need a super human day from our DLine. Myles & Gustin need to play out of their minds.
Browns is the Browns
... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.

agreed .. it’s wack a mole ... they’ll get you one way or another.
After watching them all year because of fantasy purposes, I have to say that we MUST do two things to have a chance: eliminate Kelce and stop Hill from going over the top.
Unless we get down 2 scores, we have to make them dink and dunk

I think the Alabama offense is head and shoulders more dominant to the college game than the Chiefs offense has been to the NFL game,
The chiefs score points, but the Tide were pretty unstoppable.
I think the Chiefs look to be a very beatable team, with a lot of good qualities, just like could be said for every team left in the AFC Playoffs,
and most of the NFC, well the Rams, and Saints, anyways,
I'm glad the Browns will get a playoff game that is not against the Steelers, that the Browns beat the steelers and there is a chance to Beat the Chiefs in a very winnable game.
but it's never going to be easy, it's about bringing all the effort and innovation that got them here in the first place.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.
This is a chance to show everyone how good our O is. Everyone got to see some of it against the Steelers but now we have everyone back with the exception of OBJ. I hope we match KC point for point +1.
I kind of disagree with the whole man-to-man approach on D because nobody mirrors Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce. I would go with the same umbrella style D we used against Pitt the last 2 games, keep plays in front of you, and force the Chiefs to have long drives instead of big plays. Hope for some 3rd down tipped balls, missed connections, maybe a sack or 3 by the D-Line. More FG attempts and less TDs by KC should be the goal. I think we have a real shot if we can hold KC to 30-31 or less, because our Offense is clicking. If things go like I hope, it'll be exasperating to watch and the game might go 4+ hours, but we're more likely to have a happy outcome, IMO.

They better hope they can match us point for point, according to this from ESPN.

All - Sports journalist...they talk about Bills, Ravens, Chiefs and totally ignore the Browns as contenders as if we are just lucky or something?!?!
Cause once again they just look at STATs and not the games. Whose Defense played better OURS or the STEELERS without question if you saw the game our Defense played better. But statistically their Defense simply kicked our butts.
Same thing with the OFFENSE...whose played better, if you watched the game hands down our Offense played better but if you go by STATS the Steelers O played better. Oh we were lucky with all the turnovers
jmho
Defense wins championships. Watson play your butt off! Go Browns! CHRIST HAS RISEN! GM Strong! & Stay safe everyone!
Yeah, I think we’re viewed as a cute story and a Cinderella team who’s about to have its “feel good” story ended.
We can certainly win, though it’ll be the most difficult task of the year (of course) .... hopefully we’re up for the challenge again

They talk about those other teams with good reason: they've shown themselves to not be Fool's Gold. For over 20 years, we've either been really bad or we were hyped and utterly melted under the pressure and failed to live up to it... we've never shown anyone anything that they should believe we are what we are.
It isn't their job to believe in us, it is our job to make them believe. Either we get it done, or we don't. That's it.
