It takes a truly despicable human being for me to talk ill of the dead, but I hope Rush was a secret Atheist else hell just got a big, loud, mouthy, lump of dumbass to fuel it's flames for a few millennia. One of the few people on this planet that I truly despised.

I have never been a Rush fan, but my prayers go out to his family and friends.

Come on folks another human being has died. How about a little respect even if if it's not for him, but for his family and friends.

I don't hold any ill will or bad wishes for Rush. I liken this to a lot of things. People die every day. Some I know, some are related or close friends of my friends and family. I wish all of their surviving friends and families the best in their grieving process. Same goes for the family and friends of Limbaugh.

There are many celebrities and people that die who I didn't watch, follow, have any relationship through friends or family that I simply don't address. It's not anything personal against them. But if I went around wishing condolences to everyone who passed away it would be a full time job with lots of overtime.

Had Dawg Duty not have made such a stupid comment I probably would never have commented in this thread at all.

That's why I just posted up the link and that was it... but the first response was wishing a different person were gone instead. The folks I expected to have the strong reactions didn't come in until after.

It's Wednesday, Poetic justice, no, umm.
So We learn of his death on a Wednesday, and his show ran from Noon to 3pm weekdays Eastern time, for 30 plus years.

Now what happens on a Wednesday at noon, they test the air-raid sirens,

from like since WWII times, so 50 years before his show started, and used for tornados and all these years.

So a fitting tribute all the air raid sirens would be going off at the start of his show, because it's a Wednesday and noon Eastern.

Oh I didn't. I was just explaining why sometimes I don't post in topics such as these. Some may find it a bit odd but I actually feel that if I never listened to a musician, never watched someone's movies or have no connection whatsoever with someone, coming late to the party and feigning grief is disingenuous at best.

I listened to Rush quite a bit in the 90's and early part of 00's. He was a master at his craft there's no denying that. Love him or hate him. In fact, he made me want to learn more about all sides of an issue and not just his or "theirs."

And I loved listening to Rush and then watching the West Wing. (one of my all time favorite shows)
