anyone else as jacked up about this game as i am?
seriously, this could be one of the best games this year on the 360... i think it could rival halo 3...

Gonna pick it up for PS3.
Had to replace 360 when it froze up on me and Microsoft wouldn't honor warranty.. (long story)

I'm more excited for Mass Effect than anything... Game looks amazing. Great year to be a Xbox 360 owner, a great fall selection. I'm actually thankful GTA isn't coming out until next year, no way I could afford it. 
I want the Cleveland Browns to be my pallbearers so they can let me down for the last time.

no doubt, so many games on the horizon for 360
gta, fable 2, battlefield: bad company, mercenaries 2, devil may cry 4 (aw, poor sony)

I've considered it, but there's sooo many games coming out between now and the spring that I really want to buy. Because some of them have been pushed back, I may check it out, but originally there were just too many games coming out before the end of the year to get it.
Originally GTA4, Unreal Tourney III, and Uncharted, and SOCOM were all coming out, but only Uncharted is still on for November. I'll probably pick that up first and go from there.

This is going to be an excellent game. along with Mass Effect. I am more of a PC "Fanboy".   So I am even more stoked for Gears of War PC and Crysis.  I can think of about 12 games I would like to have in November alone. Too many games not enough time or money. 
Einstein could not even fathom the mathematical improbabilities of the Browns woes.

Demo would only hurt their sales, seeing as if some people don't like it they won't buy it. It is a highly anticipated game on all platforms.
Wouldn't mind a demo though, too bad it sounds like there won't be one.

i like it...
ign gave it a 7.7, saying it wasn't a great game, but a very good game...
and i think the low score also comes from all the buildup, this game has been hyped for almost 2 years...
and i agree...
the one button gameplay for fighting kinda sucks, but i love some of the things you can do besides fighting... climbing is fun, the story is phenomenal, and the graphics are out of this world...

I don't know, I don't even rely on IGN anymore, they have been really crappy lately.
They dock points on games for such in sequential details, like how one strip of grass looks or how the character's pinky looks.
It's weird, all the other major sites give the game at least a 9.0.

I was over on Gamespot and reading some user reviews, and they basically agreed with IGN.
They said it was a great looking game, but it was very repetitive. The fighting and whatever I guess got old kind of quick. Haven't played it, but that made me decide not to buy it. I think for the Holidays I'll end up getting Uncharted instead. I've beaten the demo, and I enjoyed it. Pain is another one that I'll download from the PSN which comes out the week after Thanksgiving. Looks like a fun gaem. Then after Christmas there's a BUTTLOAD of games coming out that I'll end up buying: Soul Caliber 4, UT III, Little Big Planet, Killzone 2, SOCOM, GTA 4 and eventually Gran Turismo 5 hopefully by the summer.

You can throw people on the ground, assassinate them, use your sword, counter, tackle, throw knives, throw people off of buildings.
It's not like you just swing your sword and hit x, you actually defend and attack and counter, its awesome to throw someone then jump and assassinate them with your hidden blade. It may be repetitive, but can you find me a game like that that doesn't have repetitive fighting?
Not to mention you get new abilities and stuff as you go along.

Wow of course the one time i decide to buy a game for the 360 instead of PS3 it gets better ratings on the PS3.
Oh well 360 is in my room anyways and i enjoy the game.

I have to say I wish they had left the entire Sci-Fi thing about it out. It would be a truly awesome game if they left it just in the Crusades and didn't include any of the future .... junk.

I finally picked this game up the other day. It has great graphics and the game play is great. My only problem is what's with all of the futuristic crap. Just as you start getting into it the game takes you to some doctors office in the future. I'm sure this will be explained later in the game but I think it could have been great if that part was just left out. I don't really get it.

It's supposed to be a trilogy and theyre going to be using the Animus in the 2nd and third ones most likely... (possibly different ancestors or whatever in different locations.)
