It seems they've forgotten that corporations are people too.
I will never, not in a million years, accept corporations as people... NEVER...
If corporations were people, they would pay taxes as individuals. I want those corporate tax rates... No they are not people, it is perhaps the most twisted legal concept ever created.
Welcome back, Joe, we missed you!…. That did not age well.
70 Year Old Trump Supporter Poops In Biden Supporters Yard Repeatedly.
A "Trump Man" just got busted for taking a dump in a Biden supporter's yard.
Arguing over politics has officially gone too far. In 2020, Michigan had a group of Trump supporters that planned to kidnap and execute Governor Gretchen Whitmer. And we can't forget the insurrection on our Nation's capitol on January 6th. Just when we think things might get better this crappy situation in Ohio happens.
Last Sunday morning around 3:15 A.M. a 70-year-old man in Greenville, Ohio allegedly committed a turd degree felony. He is being accused of showing his neighbor what brown could do for him (sorry UPS) over politics. The suspect, Jerry Detrick, proudly confessed according to a police report obtained by thesmokinggun.com. Greenville Police Sergeant Marion stated in his report that not only did the suspect confess to dumping in this person's yard on multiple occasions, he even explained why,
"Jerry also stated he does it because the residents at 614 N. Broadway Street are democrats and support Joe Biden and he stated he was a "Trump Man."
This appears to be both a crime connected to politics as well as a crime of convenience. The suspect frequently passes the Biden supporting neighbor on his way to and from Danny's Bar. Many nights on his walk home from the bar he delivers a #1 or a #2 when he can. That's awful thoughtful of him.
On this night, Jerry was caught brown handed by the home owner Matthew Guyette. Matthew called 9-1-1 in the hopes of putting a cork in this problem. The serial pooper is facing a misdemeanor charge of littering. That's it? Littering? Something doesn't smell right about that charge.
Kemp booed and Raffensperger censured at Georgia GOP convention
Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp was booed and Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger was censured at the Georgia GOP convention Saturday, demonstrating former President Donald Trump's hold over members of the Georgia Republican Party. The reaction from members of the Georgia GOP comes months after both Kemp and Raffensperger refused to help the former President overturn the election results after his loss to President Joe Biden. Trump has endorsed one of Raffensperger's primary opponents, GOP Rep. Jody Hice, who has embraced the ex-President's falsehoods about the election. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Kemp was greeted with boos so loud as he spoke at the convention that it was difficult to hear his speech from the press area for about 30 seconds. And while Kemp dodged any formal vote of disapproval, Raffensperger was officially censured Saturday due to "dereliction of his constitutional duty," according to the newspaper.
A copy of the resolution obtained by the newspaper calls on Kemp and all elected officials to "repair the damage that has been done and commit themselves to securing Georgia's elections."
The animosity toward Kemp and Raffensperger from Georgia Republicans on Saturday mirrors the hostility faced by other GOP leaders who have spoken out against the former President.
Utah Sen. Mitt Romney avoided censure but was booed by GOP delegates at last month's Utah Republican Party's organizing convention by people who were still angry about the 2012 presidential nominee's votes to convict Trump in both his 2020 and 2021 impeachment trials. And Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney was ousted from House Republican leadership, after publicly rejecting for months Trump's lie that he won the 2020 presidential election. Cheney -- who also voted to impeach Trump this year -- had been the third-ranking Republican in the House.
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, a Republican, said former President Donald Trump would have lost in Texas in the 2020 election if his office had not successfully blocked counties from mailing out applications for mail-in ballots to all registered voters
Not some leeway, lots of leeway.. No way could the framers ever have had the belief we'd have the types of guns we have available today.. no way could they have conceived of such weapons.
They didn't have to. A rifle is a rifle.
What I think they could have never imagined is a population group so eager to give away their rights and subject themselves to the whim of the central government.
I mean, they just fought to get away from totalitarian rule of the King. No way they could have envisioned such a meek populace.

From what you just wrote it's possible to think you are suggesting that the performance of munitions and rifles back when the constitution was written is essentially the same as todays technology? Because in terms of performance and ability to kill people and the rate at which they can kill people - they aren't at all similar.
The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.

Meek? like those insurrectionists meek? Or the gun toting scum that stormed the state capitol buildings meek? Come on man, the only thing that's meek about the populace is people just trying to live their lives without getting gunned down at concerts, in schools, at church, and everywhere else a lunatic with a gun might strike... that's hardly nothing.
Is America heading to a place where it can no longer call itself a democracy?
‘There was a momentary sigh of relief but the level of anxiety is actually strangely higher now than in 2016,’ said Daniel Ziblatt, co-author of How Democracies Die. Photograph: Brendan Smialowski/AFP/Getty Images Voting rights are threatened across the US and Trump allies are vying to control elections in multiple states. Can US democracy survive the post-Trump onslaught?
David Smith David Smith in Washington @smithinamerica Sat 5 Jun 2021 02.00 EDT
If Donald Trump’s inaugural address can be summed up in two words – “American carnage” – Joe Biden’s might be remembered for three: “Democracy has prevailed.”
The new president, speaking from the spot where just two weeks earlier a pro-Trump mob had stormed the US Capitol, promised that the worst was over in a battered, bruised yet resilient Washington.
But now, four and a half months later the alarm bells are sounding on American democracy again. Even as the coronavirus retreats, the pandemic of Trump’s “big lie” about a stolen election spreads, manifest in Republicans’ blocking of a commission to investigate the insurrection. And state after state is imposing new voting restrictions and Trump allies are now vying to run future election themselves.
With Republicans still in thrall to Trump and odds-on to win control of the House of Representatives next year, there are growing fears that his presidency was less a historical blip than a harbinger of systemic decline.
“There was a momentary sigh of relief but the level of anxiety is actually strangely higher now than in 2016 in the sense that it’s not just about one person but there are broader structural issues,” said Daniel Ziblatt, co-author of How Democracies Die. “The weird emails that I get are more ominous now than they were in 2016: there seems to be a much deeper level of misinformation and conspiracy theories.”
There seems to be a much deeper level of misinformation and conspiracy theories Daniel Ziblatt Just hours after the terror of 6 January, 147 Republicans in Congress voted to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election despite no evidence of irregularities. Trump was impeached for inciting the violence but Senate Republicans ensured his acquittal – a fork in the road where the party could have chosen another destiny.
As Trump continued to push his false claims of election fraud, rightwing media and Republican state parties fell into line. A farcical “audit” of votes is under way in Arizona with more states threatening to follow suit. Trump is reportedly so fixated on the audits that he has even suggested – wrongly – he could be reinstated as president later this year.
Perhaps more insidiously, Trump supporters who tried to overturn the 2020 election are maneuvering to serve as election officials in swing states such as Arizona, Georgia, Michigan and Nevada. If they succeed in becoming secretaries of state, they would exercise huge influence over the conduct of future elections and certifying their results. Some moderate Republican secretaries of state were crucial bulwarks against Trump’s toxic conspiracy theories last year.
The offensive is coupled with a dramatic and sweeping assault on voting rights. Republican-controlled state legislatures have rammed through bills that make it harder to vote in states such as Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Iowa and Montana. Their all-out effort in Texas was temporarily derailed when Democrats walked out of the chamber, denying them a quorum.
Ziblatt, a political scientist at Harvard University, commented: “The most worrying threat is at the state level, the effort to change voting rules, which I think is prompted by the failed effort to alter the election outcome of 2020.
“The lesson Republicans have learnt from that is they don’t really suffer any electoral consequences from their base pursuing this kind of thing. In fact, they’re rewarded for it. That’s very ominous because that suggests they’ll continue to try to do this until they pay an electoral price for it, and so far they don’t sense they’re paying an electoral price for it.”
Where is this authoritarian ecosystem heading? For many, the nightmare scenario is that Trump will run again in 2024 and, with the benefit of voter suppression, sneak a win in the electoral college as he did in 2016. If that fails, plan B would be for a Republican-controlled House to refuse to certify a Democratic winner and overturn the result in Trump’s favour.
Disputed presidential elections have been thrown to the House before, Ziblatt noted. “It’s not unprecedented but in those earlier periods you had two parties that were constitutional, fully democratic parties. The thought of having a dispute like that when one of the parties is only questionably committed to democratic rules and norms is very frightening.”
People use elections to get into power and then, once in power, assault democratic institutions Daniel Ziblatt In How Democracies Die, Ziblatt and Steven Levitsky argue that democracies often come under threat not from invading armies or violent revolutions but at the ballot box: death by a thousand cuts. “People use elections to get into power and then, once in power, assault democratic institutions,” Ziblatt said.
“That’s Viktor Orbán [in Hungary], that’s Recep Tayyip Erdoğan [in Turkey], that’s Hugo Chávez [in Venezuela] and what’s distinctive about that is that it often begins incrementally. So people continue to go about their lives, continue to vote, parliament continues to meet and so you think, ‘Is there really a threat?’ But the power concentrates so it becomes harder and harder to unseat an incumbent.”
He added: “We shouldn’t overlook that fact that we had a change in government in January. What that suggests is our electoral institutions do work better than they do in Hungary. The opposition in the United States is more well-organised and financed than the Hungarian opposition or the Turkish opposition, so we shouldn’t overstate that. But on the other hand, the tendencies are very similar.”
Republicans are also playing a very long game, rewiring democracy’s hard drive in an attempt to consolidate power. Trump is arguably both cause and effect of the lurch right, which takes place in the wider context of white Christians losing majority status in America’s changing demographics.
His grip on the party appears only to have tightened since his defeat, as evidenced by the ousting of Trump critic Liz Cheney from House leadership and their use of a procedural move known as the filibuster to block the 6 January commission. Critics say that, in an atmosphere of partisan tribalism, the party is now driven by a conviction that Democratic victories are by definition illegitimate.
Kurt Bardella, a former Republican congressional aide who is now a Democrat, said: “It’s very clear that the next time there is a violent effort to overthrow our government, Republicans in Congress will be knowing accomplices in that effort. They are the getaway driver for the democratic arsonists.”
Bardella, a political commentator, added: “It has become painfully transparent that the Republican party platform is 100% anti-democratic and it is their ambition to impose minority rule on the majority going forward, because they know that when the playing field is level, they can’t win and so they have instead decided to double down on supporting a wannabe autocrat, and are doing everything they can to destabilise the democratic safeguards that we’ve had in place since the founding of our country.
“We cannot underestimate the gravity of this moment in time because what happens over the next month or year could be the turning point in this battle to preserve our democracy.”
The threat poses a dilemma for Biden, who was elected on a promise of building bridges and seeking bipartisanship. He continues to do so while issuing increasingly stark calls to arms. Speaking in Tulsa, Oklahoma, this week, he repeated his “democracy prevailed” mantra but then warned of a “truly unprecedented assault on our democracy” and announced that the vice-president, Kamala Harris, would lead an effort to strengthen voting rights.
Joe Biden speaks in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on 1 June. Joe Biden speaks in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on 1 June. Photograph: Brandon Bell/Getty Images Proposed national legislation to address the issue, however, depends on a Senate currently split 50-50 between Democrats and Republicans (Harris has the tie-breaking vote). In order to pass it with a simple majority, Democrats would first have to abolish the filibuster but at least two senators, Joe Manchin of West Virginia and Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona, have ruled out such a step.
Facing this stalemate, activists and civil society are trying to create a sense of urgency. More than a hundred scholars this week released a joint statement, posted by the New America thinktank, expressing “deep concern” at “radical changes to core electoral procedures” that jeopardise free and fair elections. “Our entire democracy is now at risk,” the scholars wrote.
Last year’s poll was dubbed “the election that could break America” and the nation was widely considered to have dodged a bullet; it may not be so fortunate in 2024. Yvette Simpson, chief executive of the progressive group Democracy for Action, added: “We’re getting to the place where we might not be able to call ourselves a democracy any more. That’s how dire it is.
“It is not just the fact that there is an orchestrated, concerted effort across our country to interfere with the most fundamental right of any democracy but that they’re doing it so blatantly, so out in the open and so unapologetically, and that there have been many attempts and there’s no easy way to stop it.”
Simpson compared Democrats’ victory over Trump to the film Avengers: Endgame and warned against complacency. “We just defeated Thanos and everybody was like, ‘OK, let’s take a break,’ and I’m like, ‘No, we cannot take a break because the GOP never take a break’. They know that we’re taking a break and that’s why they’re doing it now and so aggressively: ‘You think you won because Trump is out? Oh, we got you.’”
Ibram X Kendi, a historian and author of How to Be an Antiracist, added: “At the end of the day, there is an all out war on American voters, particularly younger voters, particularly younger voters of colour, and it’s happening from Texas to Florida and it’s really causing the American people to decide whether we want our democracy or not.”
Pastor Johnny Enlow says 'Vision' of Donald Trump With 'Golden Scepter' Proves He's President
Self-described Christian prophet Johnny Enlow has said that his "vision" of Republican former President Donald Trump holding a golden scepter proves that Trump is still president of the United States.
Enlow described his vision in a public Facebook post published on April 30. He published his vision in response to an April 29 statement from 85 Christian leaders. The four-page statement told prophets to issue apologies and explanations if they had publicly predicted that Trump would become president by a specific date that had now passed.
The public apologies and explanations aren't intended as punishments, the statement said. Rather they were intended as "a mature act of love to protect the honor of the Lord, the integrity of prophetic ministry and the faith of those to whom the word was given."
The statement said that prophets should have their future prophecies evaluated by fellow prophets.
"Those refusing such accountability should not be welcomed for ministry," it added.
Enlow criticized the statement in his April 30 Facebook post.
"Those who refuse to disagree with God, must now be pressured into accepting the steal, under the guise of 'being humble enough' to admit being wrong. How about 'being humble enough' to keep agreeing with God after even believers and fellow leaders push for abandoning what He has clearly revealed?" Enlow wrote.
In his post, Enlow repeatedly refers to President Joe Biden as the "thief" and the media as his co-conspirators. Enlow believes Biden stole the election through an unprecedented nationwide conspiracy of widespread voter fraud. Trump, his campaign lawyers and Republican Party officials have made this claim in over 60 court cases. Almost all of the cases were dismissed from court due to lack of evidence.
Enlow goes onto say that mid-prayer, he saw a vision of Trump "seated on a throne holding a golden scepter... [with] a golden crown on his head." He said the vision was Trump's "PRESENT status from heaven's perspective."
"Heaven does not recognize [Joe Biden] having any scepter nor wearing any crown. From heaven's perspective, there is only the legitimacy of [Trump]. God has assigned a massive contingency of angels to that scepter and to that crown."
Because Trump had a higher vote count than Biden at the end of Election Night on November 3—before states began counting their mail-in ballots—Enlow argues, Trump actually won the election, fulfilling the prophecies that he would win.
Trump lost the 2020 election by over 7 million popular votes and 74 electoral votes. Nevertheless, a January poll showed that 75 percent of Republicans think that Biden didn't legitimately win the election.
It's funny to see this from evangelical Christians who - I'm assuming - heavily proclaim the bible since the bible specifically warns against people who do this kind of stuff.

Fox News declines to air ad about Jan. 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol
Fox News declined to broadcast an ad Sunday about the violence that law-enforcement members faced as they tried to stop the Jan. 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol, according to the creators of the political commercial.
“We couldn’t have fathomed in our wildest imaginations that even a Fox News would reject an ad that simply condemns the insurrection, and condemns people who support the insurrection,” said Ben Meiselas, one of the co-founders of MeidasTouch, the liberal Political Action Committee that created the 60-second ad. “What Fox has really become is a fascist echo chamber gatekeeper for their base.”
Broadcast and cable networks have discretion in refusing to air ads by political campaigns and advocacy groups. A Fox News spokeswoman did not respond to a request for comment on Saturday.
Meiselas and his two brothers, Brett and Jordan, said they placed the ad buy as they have in the past, but were informed over the phone on Friday that the cable network would not air the ad and were not given a reason. Fox News has never before refused to air one of their ads without offering suggestions for edits, they said.
The commercial features law-enforcement officers testifying in Congress and speaking to the media about their experiences during the insurrection, including getting sprayed with bear mace, engaging in hand-to-hand combat and being called “traitors.”
“It’s been very difficult seeing elected officials and other individuals whitewash the events of that day or downplay what happened,” DC Metropolitan Police Officer Michael Fanone says in a clip from a CNN interview as images of House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and other GOP elected officials are shown on screen.
The ad ends with block letters that say” “The GOP Betrayed America. We Will Never Forget.”
The ad has gone viral on social media, racking up more than 1 million views on Twitter.
Fox News is the target of multibillion-dollar defamation lawsuits by voting system and software makers over its coverage of the integrity of the 2020 presidential election. Dominion Voting Systems and Smartmatic accused Fox News of irresponsibly broadcasting falsehoods that their technology and equipment were used to rig the election. The fraud claims are among the factors that led to the insurrection as lawmakers were voting to certify the election results.
Fanone, who suffered a heart attack after rioters beat him with a flagpole and repeatedly stunned with him with his Taser gun on Jan. 6, is among the law-enforcement members who have been vocal critics of Republican lawmakers who blocked the creation of a commission to study what happened that day.
The House of Representatives approved a plan to create a bipartisan commission to investigate the insurrection on a 252-175 vote; but in the Senate, it received 54 votes in late May, six shy of the number required to bring the proposal up for debate.
A spokeswoman for President Biden on Thursday ruled out creating a presidential commission to study the matter, aligning the White House with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in the belief that such an inquiry needed to be instigated by Congress.
MeidasTouch booked nearly $185,000 of air time to play the ad on Fox News between June 6 and 15, starting with Chris Wallace’s Sunday show and continuing for seven days on “Fox and Friends” as well as two spots on daytime programs and one more on Wallace’s show next weekend.
Brett Meiselas noted that many shows on the network routinely talk about “cancel culture.”
“The fact they want to cancel and censor the voices of law enforcement who bravely guarded the Capitol. It’s the height of hypocrisy, and it’s un-American,” he said.
MeidasTouch is a liberal political action committee formed in 2020 by the three brothers, who have notable ties to Hollywood. Their father is a prominent attorney who represents musicians including Lady Gaga.
Ben Meiselas is a lawyer whose clients include former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick. Brett Meiselas was an editor on Ellen DeGeneres’ talk show. Jordan Meiselas, a former marketer, is now working full time on the PAC.
The PAC made anti-Trump videos during the 2020 presidential race and supported Democrats during the special Georgia Senate races earlier this year. The PAC did not receive as much attention as anti-Trump groups such as the Lincoln Project; it spent about $4.2 million last year.

The thing is, most seem to have already forgotten the things that some folks have done in the name of Trump..
Here is a short list
Trump supporters attempted to run the Biden/Harris bus off the road in Texas!
In Michigan, Trump supporters tried to kidnap the governor!
In Oregon, Trump supporters stormed the legislature guns drawn!
All this on top of storming the capitol... Trump supporters mind you.. Claim to be republicans, vote republican (or Q)
Just food for thought
Just saw a funny meme on facebook,,, Those that got arrested for their part in the Capital incident, if convicted of a felony, will not be allowed to carry or own guns legally
Irony!

That's simply not true.... That kinda thinking is what has gotten hundreds of children killed in school shootings.. It got hundreds of citizens killed in the streets of the USA.
That's the biggest pile of BS I've ever heard coming from you and I've heard some really crazy crap in the past..
Do you think that "Just any Rifle" would have been capable of killing 50 people within minutes in Vegas a few years ago..
NO,, Rifles are NOT just rifles.
What about the rights of those kids and other citizens that were shot or killed? Are they less important than gun rights? Are they?

Often times people laugh at the things they wish to avoid addressing. You make it sound as if our forefathers could envision a time that someone could walk into a mall, as if they could even envision what a mall would look like, and shoot 30 rounds into crowd of people, reload in less than five seconds and repeat the process because "a rifle is a rifle".
Now that's funny right there and I didn't expect you to address the question in any meaningful way. You did not disappoint.

3 in 10 Republicans believe Trump will be reinstated as president: poll
Approximately 3 in 10 Republicans say in a new poll they believe former President Trump will be reinstated this year.
The Politico-Morning Consult Poll published on Wednesday found the vast majority of Americans dismiss the idea that Trump will be reinstated as president, including 61 percent of Republicans. Twenty-nine percent of GOP respondents, however, said they believe Trump will be made president again.
More than 8 in 10 Democrats — 84 percent — and 70 percent of independents also dismiss the notion that Trump will be made president after it is proven President Biden cheated in the election.
New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman reported last week Trump has been pressuring conservative media to legitimize his conspiracy theories about the 2020 presidential election being "rigged" against him.
The former president has also been telling people in his orbit he expects to be reinstated by August of this year.
“And none of that is possible. But this is the kind of thing that he is trying to flush into the conservative media ecosystem,” Haberman said during an appearance on CNN. “And I expect it to get more intense the more he is under investigation by the Manhattan district attorney and the state attorney general in New York and the threat of indictment over the coming months.”
Since losing last year's presidential election, Trump has repeatedly pushed baseless claims of widespread voter fraud and suggested the election was not conducted fairly.
Polling shows a solid majority of GOP voters still supportive of Trump and his policies, with a significant amount of Republican voters hopeful he will run for president again in 2024.
Trump has not confirmed his future political plans, saying he is currently focused on helping elect Republicans who are loyal to him and his agenda to Congress.
"As you know, it's very early. But I think people are going to be very, very happy when I make a certain announcement," Trump said early last month. "You know for campaign finance reasons, you really can't do it too early because it becomes a whole different thing."
The new Politico-Morning Consult Poll also found 59 percent of Republican voters polled said they wish to see Trump play a major role in the party going forward.
In another key finding, 77 of all respondents said that they believe America’s democracy is being threatened, including 82 percent of Republicans and 77 percent of Democrats.
Morning Consult noted that just 4 in 10 Republicans said they had at least “some” confidence in the electoral system.
The poll was conducted June 4-7 among 1,990 registered voters. It has a margin of error of 2 percentage points.
So 30% of Republicans are completely nuts? smh. How do you work with a party that's dethatched from reality? Between them and the Joe Manchins of the world we are becoming a lost cause. They won't be happy until they've installed the fascist government they yearn for.
What about the rights of those kids and other citizens that were shot or killed? Are they less important than gun rights? Are they?
LOL
You find that funny? Really?
I'll spell it out for both you and Pit. I laugh at how preposterous it is for you and him to even entertain the goofy idea that I place gun rights before human life.

The big question we should be asking ourselves is should Gohmert's name be changed to Gomer.
Republican asks if ‘BLM or the forest service’ can change the orbit of the moon to fight climate change
Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) had an interesting inquiry about climate change at a House Natural Resources Committee hearing— and it involved changing the orbit of the moon or earth to combat it.
On Tuesday, Gohmert spoke to a representative from the United States Department of Agriculture (Forest Service) about the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), environmental efforts, and climate change.
“And I understand from what’s been testified to the forest service and the BLM, you want very much to work on the issue of climate change,” Gohmert stated.
“I was informed by the media past director of NASA that they have found that the moon’s orbit is changing slightly, and so is the Earth’s orbit around the Sun. We know there’s been a significant solar flare activity,” he continued before asking the burning question ( no pun intended).
“So is there anything that the National Forest Service or BLM can do to change the course of the moon’s orbit or the Earth’s orbit around the sun?” He asked.
Ahh, mind-blowing.
He also noted that it would have significant effects on “our climate.”
Seemingly hesitant, the representative from the Forest Service responded with the following: “I would have to follow up with you on that one, Mr Gohmert,” she said with a slight smile.
“Well, if you figure out a way that you in the Forest Service can make that change, I’d like to know, “Gohmert responded.
The earth’s orbit, tilt, and spin affect the solar energy received by particular regions in the world depending on the time of day, year, and latitude. Small changes in the earth’s tilt and the shape of the orbit around the sun cause changes in the climate for 10,000 to 100,000 years, so it is not driving climate change at this very moment.
As for the Moon, if it were “removed”, there would be extreme climate change. There would be considerable differences in temperatures and daylight throughout the year, and ice ages would hit different parts of the world every thousand years. Fortunately, the moon isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
People on social media were quick to comment on Gohmert’s question as they were confused.
Some believe that he has a great imagination but has no clue what he’s talking about at all. Others just think Gohmert’s sentiments are absurd.
That'll play well with Trump of Cult - she will cut it and edit it and post it somewhere and it will be accompanied by a narrative that the Biden Administration won't answer the question.

Trump aide asked DoJ to investigate bizarre ‘Italygate’ claim votes were changed by satellite
Conspiracy theory says people in Italy used military satellites to make US voting machines switch votes for Biden
Donald Trump’s final White House chief of staff, Mark Meadows, pressured the acting attorney general to help push the lie of electoral fraud in Trump’s defeat by Joe Biden – even asking him to investigate a conspiracy theory which said people in Italy used military satellites to make US voting machines switch votes for Biden.
No, that sentence above isn't parody although it reads like it. It is fact -- first reported by The New York Times on Saturday and then confirmed by CNN. That actually happened. In the United States of America. In 2021 (and in late 2020). Which is absolutely terrifying.
What's stunning to me is that this isn't a bigger story. Yes, I understand it's a summer weekend. And that the country is finally beginning to emerge from 16 months of lockdowns due to the Covid-19 pandemic. And that stories about Trump (and his top allies) pushing the bounds of acceptable conduct became so common in the last four years that we may have lost our ability to be shocked by, well, anything the former President and his backers do or did.
I get it! And yet, consider, again, what we are talking about: The top aide to the President of the United States tried to get the head of the Department of Justice to launch investigations into appallingly ridiculous election fraud claims solely because the aforementioned President couldn't (and can't) accept that he lost the 2020 election.
So reported the New York Times on Saturday night, even as Trump made a return to the public stage with a speech to Republicans in North Carolina.
In Greenville, Trump repeated his lies about his clear defeat by Biden, which he called “the crime of the century”.
Before he became Trump’s fourth and final chief of staff, Meadows was a hard-right congressman from North Carolina and a loyal Trump supporter. The Times said he emailed acting attorney general Jeffrey Rosen five times in December and January.
One email dealt with the “Italygate” conspiracy theory, the Times said, adding that Rosen refused to set up a meeting with a former CIA agent pushing the claims online.
Another email reportedly echoed claims by Rudy Giuliani, Trump’s personal lawyer who led a legal challenge to election results largely laughed out of court, that results in New Mexico were affected by fraud. There is no evidence that was the case.
Rosen resisted Meadows and also rebuffed Trump directly, citing former attorney general William Barr’s view that there was no large-scale fraud in the 2020 election, the Times said.
Trump reportedly considered replacing Rosen with an official more amenable to attempts to overturn the election. But Rosen stayed in place through the deadly attack on the US Capitol on 6 January, when Trump supporters sought to disrupt the certification of election results.
W Neil Eggleston, White House counsel under Barack Obama, told the Times DoJ “enforcement mechanisms should not be used for political purpose or for the personal benefit of the president … if the White House is involved in an investigation, there is at least a sense that there is a political angle to it.”
Asha Rangappa, a former FBI agent turned CNN analyst and editor for Just Security, tweeted: “We are at a place where Republican voters can more easily be convinced that Italy (?) secretly altered ballots using remote technology than that simply more people voted for a normal candidate from the opposing party.”
The academic and author Norman Ornstein said pushing the Italygate conspiracy theory made Meadows an “unAmerican traitor to our fundamental values [who] does not belong in a civil and democratic society or political system.”
The emails were discovered by the Senate judiciary committee.
In a statement, the Democratic committee chairman, Dick Durbin of Illinois, said: “This new evidence underscores the depths of the White House’s efforts to co-opt the department and influence the electoral vote certification.
“I will demand all evidence of Trump’s efforts to weaponise the justice department in his election subversion scheme.”
Anti-LGBT+ Christian activist claims Joe Biden is forming a ‘transgender atheist army’
Gordon Klingenschmitt is a former Navy chaplain who served in the Colorado House of Representatives from 2015 until 2017, and is now a Christian anti-LGBT+ activist and “motivational speaker” who goes by the name “Dr Chaps”.
In a recent newsletter to his followers, Klingenschmitt warned that Joe Biden was planning to form a “transgender atheist army for the antichrist”.
In the newsletter he referenced Biden’s victory speech, in which he thanked “gay, straight and transgender” Americans for their support, his promise to reverse Donald Trump’s trans military ban, and other commitments to protection the LGBT+ community.
But Klingenschmitt insisted that Biden was out to “transgenderize the military and punish Christian troops”, writing: “Female solders and students will be forced to share common showers and rooms with cross-dressing men or boys with male anatomy, within hours of Biden’s inauguration.”
He added: “Christian troops who object to sharing co-ed showers and bunks with opposite gender anatomy will be vilified as ‘discriminators’ and punished, demoted, discharged or court-martialed.
“Mark my words. The devil wants an atheist army for the antichrist, soon.” Christian activist Gordon Klingenschmitt is known for making bizarre and hateful comments about LGBT+ people.
Gordon Klingenschmitt has become notorious for making nonsensical and hateful claims about the LGBT+ community.
He recently claimed that the Equality Act, which would protect LGBT+ people from discrimination, would provide protections for those who commit incest, necrophilia, pedophilia and zoophilia.
In 2015, when the Boy Scouts National Executive Board lifted a ban on gay scout leaders, Klingenschmitt said they should be “drowned”.
Speaking on his YouTube show “Pray in Jesus Name”, he said: “If your boy is in one of those organisations, you need to get the out of there because what they’re going to do is promote homosexual men to mentoring and camping with your boys in the woods and it will lead to child abuse.”
He added that it would be better for “these gay child molesters to be tossed into the sea and drowned than to be allowed to cause a child to sin”.
In 2018, he claimed that Sesame Street writer Mark Saltzman, who said he thought of Bert and Ernie as gay, was trying to “recruit the children of heterosexual couples”.
“Mark Saltzman, by projecting his sexuality upon beloved children’s puppets, he is actually trying to recruit children into his perverse lifestyle so that he can eventually recruit them to become what he is,” the Christian activist said.
“Homosexuals, because they don’t have their own children, they have to recruit the children of heterosexual couples in order to continue and propagate their own population of available sex partners.
“They are perverting and recruiting children by making these false allegations and that is a demonic spirit inside of you, Mark Saltzman, who [is] targeting children for your own pleasure.”
He has also claimed that gay people should not serve in the military because they were “taking breaks on the combat field to change diapers all because their treacherous sin causes them to lose control of their bowels”, that LGBT+ people want the right to have sex in Christians’ houses and that Caitlyn Jenner is possessed by demons.
