Go Streaks!!!! D V - Archbold against the #2 seed Liberty Benton.

We lost to the #1 seed in our region (Patrick Henry) and we lost to the the #3 seed in our region (fairview). Our other loss ...well, it sucked.

Archbold has one heck of an offense. We throw the ball like you can't believe. Our d, meanwhile, allows opposing teams to do whatever it is they do best. Go Streaks!!!!!

I think they really got lucky to knock down the # 1 seed, with 2 10-0 teams behind them. Then they really got lucky that Groveport-Madison moved up so far (# 5), or they would have had to play them AGAIN.

Howland was outplayed in two games they won. In the game against Poland, Poland had the ball inside the 10 in the final few seconds. The runningback reached the ball over the goal line and it was knocked out of his hand. Should have been a game winning TD. They ended up losing in OT.

Poland's three loses were to div. II schools. 2 of the loses should have been wins. Might be a very good match up.

Coshocton should forfiet now and save themselves the embarrassment. For that matter so should the rest of the division. Mooney has kids going to Notre Dame, Iowa and Penn State (2) with possibly more Div. I schools to follow.

Keep in mind they are a division IV school.

Oh they were down to St. Vincent 17-0 at half because of turnovers. St. V did't have 50 yards total offense at half. In fact, turnovers made some of these games closer than they were. That is their only weakness.

Ill cry if I want to... It could of been huge. We backed into the playoffs after Canfield spanked us.

Division 1, Region 4 is a joke. Wayne goes 8-2 and misses out, but Northmot goes 7-3 and gets in. Not that either one of these teams has a real shot at winning the whole thing, but still.

Oh well, Wayne has a serious chance at making a run in the state playoffs in a couple years. Remember these names:

$hit happens. I didn't see the game and haven't seen one this year since I live in Columbus now. Howland's been screwed enough in various situations over the years it's gotta even out sometime

I am going to the game on Friday though. Going to the Howland game Friday and the Browns on Sunday. Happy bday to me.

I don't often get to say this about my alma mater and sports - but GO ROYALTON!!!!!

Hopefully both will be wins. I would love to see a Canfield-Howland rematch. I will pull for Howland in that one.

I root for any of the hometown teams. That would be kind of cool if howland played canfield again since it wouldn't be until the state semi-s or even the championship!

Only team I root for down here is Worthington Kilbourne but I have no real allegience to them yet other than my son is in the school district.

Go Cuyahoga Falls Black Tigers.....errrr....um....nevermind. My alma mater only managed to win 1 game this season (their first win since 2004).

Cin. St. Xavier or Dublin Coffman will win Division 1. Dont care about the others....

Davidson stomped my team Grove City 28-9 I dont know what happened. I think it was becaus of Grove Port Madison making it in for first time in 20 years!!!

Arch, Wauseon beat you guys, beat Patrick Henry, lost to two playoff teams by combined 8 points, in Napoleon & Liberty Center....Cant understand how we got left out

Yeah, it'd be a shame for Darby to have to play Groveport-Madison again in the playoffs.... Because Groveport owned them Friday night!! Wow, what a game that was!!

The ultimate matchup for me would be Mentor vs. Groveport-Madison. My alma mater vs. my new team. I haven't seen Coach Triv in a while, it'd be fun to match wits with him. He was my DB coach when I was at Mentor. Last year, Groveport traveled up to play Eastlake North (my wife's alma mater) and I made us sit on the visitors side. She wasn't too happy. But North won. Blah. Go Cards! Go Cruisers!! Everyone else needs to lose.

Was this during the time they decided running the Wing-T offense with 145 pound lineman (against S-ville, B-wick, Medina, etc.) was a good idea? I went back for a game and they were rumblin, bumblin, stumblin all over one another. Looked like a pee-wee soccer game.

They had some decent basketball teams back in my heyday.

As BW grad though, I'm not exactly enamored with the Mount Union rip-off for the new uniforms.
