Wow!

And to think, Sat. I was impressed with a downhill putt of 38 feet.

Scramble, me, cousin in law, his 12 year old son that is just getting into golf, and another fellow.

The 12 year old has taken lessons, but this was his first time golfing on an actual course.

520 yd. par 5. I had a great tee shot (for me, anyway) Cousin bested me by 15-20 yards.

Next shot for me was dead on........rolled past the hole by 38 feet. On the green, putting downhill, the 12 year old putted first.

And? He drilled it. Perfect, in the hole. "Bud, we got an eagle!" Wish I had a picture of his face/reaction.

LOL....no, I would have had to pitch.

About 25 years ago I played a round at Wailai golf club outside Honolulu , where they play the Sony open each year. I ended up on the front of the green and the pin was in the back. I can't remember the hole. A long par 3. I paced it off at 45 paces, so it had to be a 40+ yard putt.

How the heck do you practice that? You can't anywhere around here. I just smashed it and ended up maybe 15-20 feet short. I was afraid I was going to take a divot with my putter!

No, I didn't make the putt. I 3 putted.

If everybody had like minds, we would never learn.

Honesty among golfers is almost as rare as honesty among fishermen. It's appreciated.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.
