....and then you woke up.

While I can understand the optimism of your improved offense, the Browns defense remains putrid. Although I expect a closer game this time around, the Browns simply are not good enough to beat the Steelers yet.

Don't get too high off of your wins against the Rams and the Dolphins - they are the two worst teams in the league for heavens sake.

I'm expecting Willie to run for at least 150 yards, and although the Browns offense will score easier than they did last time, they will fall short in the end.

I like our chances in a shoot out with Pitt. Last time you beat us on turnovers, QB pressures, and poor QB play. This time you wont be facing Charlie Frye, and you will be facing the best O line the Browns have had in years. I dont think the steelers will be able to stop our receivers, and with our improved line we should even be able to run the ball.

Stay tuned for the ascendancy of the Browns. Or rise if you prefer. That's what I meant. Or I may have meant the REVENGE of the Browns.

This post didnt even start out as directed particularly at Pittsburgh but all three teams that are in our division.

I got two things to say:

1. Where's the Ravens and Bengals fans.
2. Grudging respect to you steelers fans, but I still think the Steelers stink.

There I said it.

Shep must be rubbing off on you. Only 7 points? No way he hold Pittsburgh to 23 at their home. I'll be happy with a competetive game right now. The highlight of the last game was meeting you.....Oh yeah, and Shep too, I guess.

Good Question, Mike. Worthy of an answer.

I am not a bandwagon fan if that's what you think. Ive been a diehard Browns fan since Brian Sipe was our QB. think it was 1980, the year we lost to the Raiders in the playoffs. I'm not new to Cleveland Sports, I'm just new to sports message boards. Tip of my hat to ya.

you are right, in your house at mid-season that crap field you got will be a moonscape. there wont be much offense, as people wont be able to navigate the field without an ATV

Hey, after week 1 did you think your prediction for our rematch would be a one score victory? I'll take that as a show of respect and I'll say that if we can keep it within a score, then anything can happen...

I like it here in LA, especially the weather and the beaches. I live near Pasadena so I don't technically live in LA, but I live in the LA area. The only thing I don't like is the traffic, but you probably have that problem in MD as well. As much as I like it here, I will always miss Ohio. My dad and sister live in Painesville and I was raised in Eastlake. I hope your family is doing well.

I was raised in Eastlake also...now I reside in Mentor....it's really a lot nicer than it was 25+ years ago....by that I mean where I live now.

Let me ask you guys something, how is the living in Ohio? I have always wanted to live a type of "farm life" away from others so to speak. Is the land there cheaper than here on the East Coast? Compared to Md. is the living better in the valley??

Here in NW Ohio, it's not bad at all if you're a sports fan. Reasonable drives to Cleveland, Columbus and Detroit.

You can live out in the boonies and still be within a 1/2 hour of a city....or you can really get away and live in Archbold. (Sorry Arch, couldn't resist!).

Astronomically. The real estate is among the lowest priced in the nation.

My brother lived in the DC area for several years, and he couln't wait to get out of there. One real benefit is the low traffic volume (Columbus excluded).

Really> I lived in Mentor for a couple of months in 78. Less than a year before I moved to Cali. Eastlake wasnt the fanciest place in the world but i have a lot of memories there. Ive been in cali for almost 30 years, and I love Iit, but I will always love cleveland and the state of Ohio. I will always be a Brown, Indian, Cav, Buckeye fan.

Hey man, don't go telling everyone about the Garden of Eden we "folks" have out here. I mean, if people want to move to Archobold (in the state playoffs AGAIN), but, back on track, if people want to move to Archbold proper, fine. Just don't send them out to the country.

If that happens, next thing you know I'll have neighbors complaining about me shooting guns and burning my leaves and trash. They'll complain about my truck, they'll complain about me and my daughter riding 4 wheelers where ever we want to go (respectively, mind you - and that's serious), they'll complain about me shooting "bambi" and hanging him/her in my front yard. Before I know it, the sheriff will be stopping out daily - wait - that wouldn't be a problem. They already cruise by and honk. Henry county ain't city like.

By the way, some of us are even edumacated enough to have jobs.

One other thing for someone looking to move into the fine country near the 'Bold. Don't be constantly calling the sheriff when you hear guns. For a couple of reasons: 1. the county is low on deputies. They can't rush out instantly on every call. Sometimes it takes them 2 hours to show up at my house after my one neighbor calls. 2. Our guns are legal, and we shoot them in a legal fashion. We're not sorry if it interrupts your dinner - unless part of a clay pigeon lands in your dinner - then we are sorry. and 3. the deputies, if and when they finally do arrive, say "you have any illegal guns", "nope", Then they say "keep shooting".

This is probably the first time ever that a thread should be moved from the shack to the tailgate instead of the other way around.

That's OK... I learned something here: never knew there was a place called Archbold. I always thought your real name was "Archie" and that you were a "bold dawg".
