Yeah, I'm not as far as you are (I'm in Cincy), and I do still have lots of family in the area.
I'm a travel addict though, as in anywhere. I know that may seem weird, but I love being on the move. The last 1.5 years have been hard in that aspect. I'd love to be able to go somewhere every weekend with a purpose.
I imagine that I'll have to wait until my son gets older. If I left my wife at home every weekend with two kids for the season, I might get a talking to...
Oddly enough, I just realized the last three Browns games I attended in person were all over 1,000 miles from Cleveland. Went to London in 2017, Tampa and Denver in 2018.
I really need to get back to a game in Cleveland.

With the @Cinci game falling on my son's birthday, it'll have to be a home game for me this year (goal each year is to attend at least 1 game). I'm eyeing the Houston game.

I thought about going to the @Cincy game this year, but I'm starting to get tired of going to games with other teams' fans...although sometimes games in Cincy can feel like a home game.

When I was still in school I worked Browns games (sold beer in the stands), and there were times when visiting fans outnumbered our own. Then I moved to Southern California where Browns fans would turn out when they came to San Diego... so I'm very comfortable being outnumbered so long as the fanbase aren't a bunch of you-know-whats.

It's not even necessarily the people, it's more the environment.
Going to the London game was cool, and that was actually a Bucket List item for me. It was awesome hanging out with - not just the Brits - but all the Europeans that actually showed up to the game. There were a bunch of Germans behind me and it was funny to hear their reactions. One of them yelled "YAAAAAHHH!!! QUATABACK SAAAAAAACK!" (spelling differently to match the accent). They even had the trough urinal setup in the Twickenham bathrooms so that made me nostalgic for Old Muni. What I found to be really interesting was that they had explanations on the scoreboard every time there was a penalty to explain to the fans what something like "Pass Interference" was, or why the clock stopped when a player went out of bounds with a certain amount of time left on the clock.
I think what I miss about FES is the environment of actually having it set up to be a home game, with Browns decor, Browns players on the jumbotron, Browns highlights, etc. Of course there is the fan aspect, too, especially in the current era.
I don't necessarily mind going to games in Cincy. The fans down here aren't that bad for the most part. It also makes for some interesting people watching. I remember about 10 years ago going to one of the games and a "south of the river" fan showed up just hammered. He came over to give me crap and as he was taunting me, he lost his balance and fell. We were in the higher section of PBS which is pretty steep, so the dude fell probably four rows down and looked like he was hurt pretty bad. Attendance at the stadium wasn't great, and it was during halftime, so he missed directly hitting anyone, which was good. I started to go to the aisle to head down and make sure he was okay, but his girlfriend beat me there. I thought she was going to help him, but then she just starts wailing on the guy. "YOU ALWAYS DO STUPID S*** LIKE THIS AND EMBARRASS ME! WHY CAN'T YOU KEEP YOUR S*** TOGETHER!" and whatnot. She stormed off and the dude put himself back together and left after her. Never saw them again.
Tampa 2018 was 50% or close Browns fans ratio, which was nice, but it was hotter than hell and they have no guard against the sun in their stadium. My in-laws live there so I was able to take my son and my father-in-law. My son was only 6 and I think the sun did him in.
The Denver night game was cool. Kept hearing "This is going to be the drive all over again!" And then Peppers sacked Keenum to end the game and I stuck around for the postgame. Great moment to be in Denver.

That's so awesome that you did a London game.
The last game I went to was @Cinci and Freddie's last game as HC (the 'No-Rushing-Title-for-Chubb game'). The game featured a lot of bad football, frustration on both sides, and not enjoyable weather (lots of rain). All-in-all, I was pleasantly surprised by the Cinci fans. I know what I should expect walking into someone else's house wearing my jersey, but I got so many compliments on my Chubb jersey.

I really need to get back to a game in Cleveland. I understand. My wife is like that. She was born in Idaho, lived in England, Thailand and many other places. Her father retired as a Colonel in the AF, so she lived all over. I may have been more open to that in the past, but not so much now. I am pretty content sticking to the USA, Canada, and maybe a cruise to the Caribbean. I certainly haven't been everywhere, but all in all to most places I have ever cared to go. I suppose I always thought going to Antarctica would be pretty cool, and it still would but that is a heck of a long journey to see ice and snow and not a heck of a lot else. I can pass on that at this point without regret.

When my in-laws went there, they debarked from Argentina. They seemed to enjoy it from the most part. The pics they have of Antarctica involved a lot of sand, snow, ice and a crap-ton of penguins.

I'd like to do a Pacific Highway tour and also sample every wine region along the way, from Napa & Russian River valley on down to Santa Barbara.
Been to Napa Valley once. Hit quite a few wineries, vineyards, etc. Spent a week at a private residence in Danville, CA. If there truly is a "God's Country", rest assured it's Napa Valley California.

I'd like to find and purchase a fully-restored version of the first car I ever owned.
I'd pack some camping gear, snatch up the Old Lady, and go on an adventure like we did when we were young and pretty.
That's all I really got, for now. It's good enough for me.

Haha, that’s exactly what my wife says. She wants to retire there some day. I will say it was far more laid back, quaint, and hospitable than I was expecting. I really enjoy my times there.

My girlfriend’s sister lives in Napa. She works in the winery business. We visit occasionally. It’s beautiful when it’s not on fire.

Ha, that is a good point. Seems like every time we go there, we always see a haze in the mountains. Every time the answer is always the same: oh, that’s the forest fires.
I did hear that there will be a problem with the recent vintages though. Not necessarily from the fire but the smoke. It’s made its way into the grapes.

One is to go to San Francisco and watch my Giants play
John 3:16 Jesus said "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."

Great idea to visit every city to watch cleveland. I wish i could do that! As of now my total is only: Cleveland, Buffalo, PIttsburgh
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

If time is on your side, it can add up. Make a game one year. A couple the next. It all counts. The biggest limit to it all is there are only 8 away games a year....well...9 every other year now and the scheduling of those teams. Hitting 32 different cities isn't hard. You just have to plan and save a few bucks every month to make it happen. You can do that.

I have only one thing on my bucket list.
1. Don't kick it.
I AM ALWAYS RIGHT... except when I am wrong.
