They say that plants scream when you cut them. Just think how that corn plant feels as it see's that huge harvester cutting a path in it's direction!!

I guess the only right thing to do is for us humans to eat nothing but animals they die a natural death or fruits that fall from the vine.

Worms have it tough when you think about it. We hang them from sharp hooks, then toss them in the water to drown or be eaten by by a fish.

I've not in my life until now ever heard anyone say plants scream when you eat them, now I feel bad for plants. But God, first gave Adam and Eve all the plants to eat in the garden, by word, then later gave them all the meats to eat by word, after the sin.

And to solve this debate from a non-Christian leftie POV... You must eat to live. If you kill to eat, that is ok, but you must respect the actual costs of your meal. If an animal or a plant dies so you can eat, the least you can do is be deserving of that sacrifice. Do not treat animals poorly, do not let crops die in the field, and always eat what you take without being wasteful. If you treat the world like a revered living thing (mother) that provides for you instead of some endless bounty that you are entitled to whenever you want it... That would be a good start. But at the end of the day if you kill to eat it is natural.
