Browns and Pass Protection.
Against the Giants in the preseason upcoming game. Browns and pass protection. Pass protection can be 4 ways,
Pass Protection from the running backs. Felton? Pass Protection from the tight ends. Connor Davis?
Pass Protection from the Offensive line. and Pass Protection from the Quarterbacks' decisions and abilities to See, make people miss, and find where to step or run.

AJ McCarron departs Falcons start after hurting knee https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/08/21/aj-mccarron-departs-falcons-start-with-knee-injury/With Matt Ryan getting the night off, AJ McCarron got the start at quarterback for the Falcons against the Dolphins on Saturday night but his night was cut shorter than planned. McCarron left in the second quarter with a knee injury and the Falcons announced that he would not return to the game. Feleipe Franks replaced him at quarterback. McCarron signed a one-year deal with the Falcons in April and also started the team’s first preseason outing. He was 3-of-6 for 43 yards before getting hurt on Saturday. Should McCarron be set for a long absence, the Falcons might be in the market for a new addition to the quarterback depth chart. Franks, who was undrafted this year, is the only other quarterback behind Ryan on the roster.

That Pittsburgh defense will be something to deal with this year, for sure. Yes, we lit them up in the playoff game, but they were down a few starters, too. Those guys will be back and we should expect their defense to be the way they were earlier last season - on fire and stout.
I didn't see the game, but Ben was on-point, too, it looks like. 8/10, 137, 2 TD. Seems like his offense made it look pretty easy to get into the endzone. His stats may be skewed a bit by a couple of long plays (a couple of WR have REALLY high avg yds), but they still got it done with Ben out there. Maybe Detroit's defense is just really bad?
Browns is the Browns
... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.

It's foolish to discount Pittsburgh.

Ben looked good. Love the new TE Freiermuth who caught 2 TD passes in the red zone. Hopefully the revamped OL can hold up.

Remember they started last year 11-0… I agree - it will be interesting to see what happens. Hopefully Canada is a far better OC than Fichtner and it will help.

During the draft process I thought that Zack Wilson looked better than Trevor Lawerence.
Tab knew someone with some inside info on Wilson who also thought who also thought so.
I am fully aware that this is pre-season. The Jets have a ways to go to build around Wilson. So, there will be times he will suffer.
But this young man has that compact quick delivery. That reiminds of Namath. He moves well. His eyes are in the right place. When he pulls the trigger that ball jumps from his hand.
Lot to like about Wilson.
I am not dishing Trevor. Not saying a thing about him really.
I just like Wilson better.
