My point is, people don't magically turn into something they're not like that.

Which, to give Trump his due, is why Trump sometimes bordered on genius. He was the cancerous catalyst that let so many haters and xenophobes find confidence in hating openly and on a political scale/front .... he was the cancer and catalyst that prayed on the fears and phobias of people who don't like that the youth are progressive.

There was/is nothing magical about it. He is in the echo chamber when he is with them. And I don't dislike the club because they do tons of charity stuff for the community and families in need. About a month ago they donated and built a new playground for a local low-income daycare/preschool. Last month they had a ride for a family that lost a mid 30s mom and dad to a bike accident in their club. They've done one every month since the accident. They also had a charity ride for a family who lost their home to fire.

So it's hard for me to argue that they are bad people in anyway (not the types to show up at an insurrection), but it still bothers me that he is being influenced by the echo chamber. He's still mostly progressive but unfortunately fell for the vaccine fear mongering and decided to "wait and see" for himself and my three 12YO+ grandkids. My daughter could choose for herself but he talked her into waiting too. smdh, this drives me nuts.
