Negative! This is the biggest weekend for horseplayers Saratoga, Del Mar, and Kentucky Downs.
On top of that, college football started!

It is silly they aren't. I don't know. I think it's a good thing to give the players a longer rest right off of camp. It also gives the FO a bit of time to tweek the roster and bring those guys to give the coaches some time to get the new guys up to speed to some degree. For lack of a better term, there is a orientation period players go through when going to a new team. Things related to the team and every day things like finding a place to stay, setting up a bank, etc. Players have the same every day things to do just as you and I.

Is it just me or does anyone else remember fans wanting Dawson cut.. I mean there was a time when he first came aboard that some fans wanted him gone.. Didn't think he'd be any good...

He wasn't perfect,, but damn, he was good. I remember it the way you do. They pssd and moaned about his kickoffs not clearing the end zone. They pssd and moaned about his 'weak leg.' There was a vocal contingent who were not shy in their disdain for 'Awesome Dawson'... the best offensive scoring threat the Browns had at the time.

I think,
If I'm giving proper rememberence to some of those early years 1999-2004, players on the list of best players since 1999
and include Jamir Miller, and if somehow we appreciate what could have been from Travis Prentice,
and include William Green, and Orpheous Roye? < I know there is a player in my mind, he was a nose tackle who spent some time on the Browns after leaving the steelers, just not remembering if I have the right name,
Then the Qb's and , Cribbs, and William Gay, and of course all the Front 7 players and Haden, and other Db's
Phil Dawson might be top 25, but I don't think top 11.

Funny no linebackers. Who was that punter the Browns had for 11 years, with a G in his name, and had a streak of several million without a block.

When do they have to list actives, is it only an hour before kickoff. Sure the Browns would like to have about 56 active, I don't know the rules. 24 hours from now it'll probably mid to late 3rd quarter. (Nearly nationally televised), biting nails. Anticipating (lead the way' and 3rd and 20s' game day posts. )
