Ok I planned on waiting until Friday to post this but I am tired of waiting.

My last test results.

Ascending aortic aneurysm has grown from 5.4 cm to 5.6 cm in 6 months.

I now have a new spot on my pancreas. No clue if it is cancer, or not I see my onclogist Thursday and I will find out more. No matter what the results say I will continue to be me. I have continued to be myself the last 7 years and I won't change. Just give me your prayers peeps, as I don't want to add yet another cancer to my list.

Ok today on "As my body falls apart" Lets start out with the good news Colonoscopy results 6 polyps all benign so I can now go 2 years without another colonoscopy. My old ass is happy about that.

descending thoracic aortic aneurysm is stable and didn't grow in the last 6 months.

Arthritis in the spine didn't get any worse.

No new cancer in the colon, or liver, no new strokes or TIA's as MRI of the head has not changed.

Lung damage is unchanged.

Hernia is stable and has not gotten any worse.

Neuropathy in my feet, right hip, right thigh, and my hands is unchanged. At this point it is what it is and we don't expect it to improve.

On the down side more thickening in my bladder wall.

As I mentioned earlier my ascending aortic aneurysm went from 5.4 CM to 5.6 Cm.

My heart went from mildly enlarged to moderately enlarged.

Joy of joys my prostate keeps growing and is now causing problems.

My Atherosclerotic coronary artery calcifications got a little worse.

As for the spot on my pancreas we have decided not to do surgery for now. We also are holding off on a biopsy for now and are going to take a wait and see approach till my next scans to see if it stays stable or grows.

Man getting old is not for sissies

It's a shame we can't start out a mess, then get better with age, when we could really enjoy it.

Haha, I think it's more like full circle. I started off pretty incontinent and needing a lot of assistance. Always complaining. Had to be fed. Couldn't really walk or be of much use. Then we get better...and then we go back to the original ways. Today, I realized that I'm at that age where I can throw my back out doing something mundane, like putting books back on my son's bookshelf, and then barely mow the lawn the next day (today) as a result.

I remember my dad would joke around about the three legged stool to enjoying life: Time, Money, and Ability.

When you're young, you have the time and the ability, but not the money.

When you're a professional adult, you have the ability and the money, but not the time.

When you're a working adult, you have the time and the money, but not the ability.

Gotta make the best out of each phase, I suppose.

No doubt. Like it or not, it is what it is. All we can do is roll with the punches as long as we can.

I don't drink anymore. One of my by-products of getting older, though mostly self inflicted. None the less....Cheers, my friend!

I am in Cleveland and going to the game today. I am in the hotel right now, not already down in the Muni on beer 2-3 by this time as in past years. When I head down later and see all the tailgaters it reminds me of tailgates past, and you are always one of the first people I think about from the dozens of people from those good times.

I don't know why I thought of this, I suppose thinking about you, but I miss stopping to pick up a dozen sausage biscuits to hand out to the early birds at the Island. Frank us usually rolling in about now, complaining about traffic as he was setting up his bowl of orange "stuff", whatever the heck was in that. Kind of one of those don't ask, just take a shot type deals...LOL.
