Although the rookie FIELDS is starting, i think this will be very close. One reason is because of our commitment to the prevent defense. The other is how banged up we are, especially the O line. I think both qb's will struggle and neither team will run the ball consistently. However i think the bears will make one more mistake than the browns giving them the edge to win the game.
Browns-13 Bears- 10
On a side note im rooting for the vikings to finally get a win. Would much rather face them at a desperate 1-2 then a VERY desperate 0-3
" Now here you are running these dirty old streets tattoo on your neck fake gold on your teeth, got the hood here snowed but you can't fool me, we both know who you are"
I dont see us keeping anybody to 10 points right now, but I could be wrong.
Chicago is a weird team to me because they historically are good on defense, though I’m not sure that’s the case any more? And Fields brings an unknown to that side of the ball too.
I’m going to say
Cleveland 24 Chicago 22
But it would not shock me if we lost this game … I feel this game, the Minnesota game, the Charger game, the Cardinals game, and the Broncos game are all up in the air
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."
Good O vs Good D on one side and TBD O vs mediocre (at best) D.
We're down Hubbard and have 2 OL as questionable, if we're down 2 starters against this D, we may struggle. Chicago's pass D is really good so far and their rush D is bottom 10. I think we run and play action all day long. I could see both Chubb and Hunt with > 20 carries each.
On the flip side, our run D is bottom 5, I think Chicago will try to run a lot. I hope we stack the line on every down - stop the rush and get after Fields. I got 3 autographed cards of his last night out of boxes so I want him to do very, very well - just not until week 4 and beyond
John 3:16 Jesus said "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
Vegas is showing Browns favored by 7.5 and 7 (two numbers this week since a few sportsbooks are showing one or the other) with the o/u at 45.5 and ML Bears +250 and Browns -320.
This week can the Browns get a quick 14 point lead? I say yes. I like the Browns +7.5 and the under. I believe Coach Woods and the defense are tired of fielding questions! Actually, from a betting perspective, I would stay clear of this game! Bears and Browns fans are not afraid to bet on their team. This line may move a bit as the money flows. That .5 point may come into play.
the bears are a team that we seem to play very little. The only vivid memory for me was when we BLEW it at their place in 2001 IIRC

I might not say big problems, but no doubt it will expose some flaws.
We best go in to the game with a defensive gameplan much as if we were playing the Ravens and Jackson at QB.
With Fields in his first start, he isn't going to stand back a survey the field for long. I can see him gaining yards in big chunks if we aren't playing for that. If we blitz, we best make it count or again, he will torch us for a large chunk of yards.
I really think there is a pretty good chance we lose this game if we aren't careful.
If everybody had like minds, we would never learn.

While Fields is a good player, he is no where near the threat Jackson is. The Bears line is not good, I don't see the lanes present for him to bust off huge runs. I'm sure he will have a couple, but nothing like Jackson is capable of.
I said something similar for the Houston game. I don't think it's quite the same thing, but somewhat similar.
There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.
