As of today. No longer works on my phone or my laptop. Worked on both last night.
Back to just showing up as a blank post. When I hit "quote" I can see the embedded Twitter link and can copy/paste into a new window but it won't show up inline on the forum.
This was an issue a couple years ago but got solved with some browser settings - although I didn't change anything over night.
FWIW I'm currently using Brave browser v 1.30.87 which is up to date (based on Chromium 94.0.4606.71 - most recent Chrome). And I have the setting for "Allow Twitter embedded tweets" turned on - which has allowed this feature to always work in the past.
Yes I have adblocker on by default as well as blocking trackers, cross-site cookies and fingerprinting (default for Brave - but I do allow scripts to run).
Again, nothing changed on my end. Same settings on phone and laptop.

It's gone for me, too. I've been kinda waiting to see if it's an anomaly that corrects itself, or if there is a larger issue that needs to be addressed.

This is just a nuisance. Not having a web server at all makes not being able see Twitter moot.

Hey Purp on the new server, just post the IP addy to the new site here for us to use while the DNS propagates your domain to the new site. Then no down day. And I bet something they did killed the twitter posts.

I've had blank twitter embeds for a day or so now, as well. Willing to wait... this doesn't even register as an inconvenience, to be honest-

Twitter posts are taking very long to appear once I open a thread. Sometimes stare at a blank post for 20-30 seconds before it finally appears. Is it a "clear your cookies" type of thing?

It's likely a "something on the page, probably one of those stupid ads, is loading slowly" thing as the Twitter code doesn't fire off until the page has finished loading.
