2nd Year Herbert > 4th Year Mayfield. And it’s not close. This doesn’t mean Baker is bad, it means he’s not the second best QB in the league. I love our staff and I think overall they have done a tremendous job with not just Baker but the entire team. That said I think one of their goals this year was to make Baker much more of a pocket passer, and I see that as a huge mistake. Yesterday they moved him around and when on the move the guy makes great throws, I know or am confident that the idea of making Baker a pocket passer has to have lost it's appeal at this juncture as it should.
