We needed to fix linebacker and safety in offseason and it doesn’t appear we did, but I still think it’s scheme that’s bad over individual players

Our zone coverage is trash Can't play man against Murray. Yes you can; you'll need some disciplined and fast linebackers though.

The Browns try to play Cover 3, but don't have the secondary to hold up long enough for the defensive line to get home; or the d-line over pursues leaving the linebackers exposed. But receivers are not being passed off correctly to the safeties... and the safeties to not see folks coming right to their zones

Barry whiffed on the offseason with this trash back end of defense "Berry" did not whiff. He got the talent; Woods is below average. The talent is there, Chicago more than proved that.

WADE PHILIPS where are you Retired; he's old now. All things not withstanding, the defense holding them to FG's is limiting the damage that could've been done by the Cardinals. The Browns need to at least get into FG range.
