Yes, it's that time of year. My wife just pointed out the window, and the snowflakes are falling.

Start getting the shovels out in northeast Ohio, we'll be using them soon.

Or a snowblower. If that's the case, stop over my house the first big snow and hook me up.

Still clear downtown...man I have a lot to do as far as errands this afternoon, I was hoping the snow would hold off until evening. This first snowfall is always a mess for drivers/accidents.

But I can't wait to get back home for Thanksgiving/December for some snowboarding.

It just doesn't seem possible! A glance at the calendar and you feel it's somehow skipped a few months right to November! Two weeks to Thanksgiving and six to Christmas! It can't be!!

Denial is a horrible thing!

It's not much, just a few flakes falling. Won't amount to much with the high being 41 in Youngstown. But just north of here in Trumbull County, they'll be getting 1-3 inches overnight.

The giant heat sink called Erie is keeping me a tad warmer. No snow yet.

We got a good dose of snow here in Erie. My bus driver ran over some telephone because she couldn't see.

We've had some on and off furries today. If it wasn't for the wind it wouldn't be a big deal. If your out of the wind it's really pleasant today.

81 and overcast here. Must mean snow is coming.

Columbus and my surrounding suburbs are still bare.

A few flurries here in Toledo, but nothing is sticking...it's more of freezing rain..

This morning in Fredonia, and all day Fredonia, its been snow and rain. It comes down snowy, and lands rainy.

But, this morning driving south to Jamestown, NY my carpool (college, education classes and field experience) got caught up in heaaaaaavy snow, our SUV spun and stopped just shy of a ditch.

Plus we drove by a car in a ditch. Also, on a different route where other people we know going the same way saw multiple cars off the road.

Terrible weather, but it was SO pretty. The first snowfall is so pretty

It is a very pleasant 70 degrees here, but supposed to get down in the 50s by morning.

85 today...right now it's down to 76 with light winds at 9:30pm.

Light winds, no trade winds.... It's a little warm. May have to use the AC tonight.

WOOHOO we had a few flurries here Summer and heat are over, now it's time for nice temps, and snow

We have a terrible lake breeze here today. It's snowing but not much at all, but some folks I know in Ashtabula have 5 inches on the ground. It wouldn't be bad if the damn wind wasn't so brutal.

I'm all ready for the nasty weather....especially for some football games!!

COLUMBUS WINTERS SUCK!!!!!!

I hate hate hate columbus winters. All it ever does in the Winter is Rain with temps in the 40's and 30's. What is the point of it being cold if their is no snow?

Historically Columbus averages about 29 inches of snow per year, If I recall correctly, here are the snowfall totals of the past 3 years.

22 inches
14 inches
11 inches Absolutly sickening

Is it to much to ask for a 5 foot snowfall event. I wouldnt even mind if it were scattered through a couple weeks, just bring it.

I went to high school in Bainbridge (secondary snow belt about 75 in/year) and my mom lives there, so I know the routine. I just get po'd every winter.
