I work in IT for the Federal government as a developer. I recently applied for a Lead Analyst position and got select for an interview. I had the interview 4 days ago and didn't think it went particularly well. I didn't know the answer to one of the technical questions at all and admitted it. This afternoon I just found out that I got the job! Still in shock. This happened so fast, so unusual for a government position. I start the new position in 2 weeks.

Thanks everyone! No I don't work for the IRS. DFAS - Defense Finance and Accounting Service. I work on DDRS, Department of Defense Reporting System doing both website design and backend (Oracle database) programming.
