Baker, Nick and Miles would be my preference.
First world problems...
There will be no playoffs. Can’t play with who we have out there and compounding it with garbage playcalling and worse execution. We don’t have good skill players on offense period. Browns 20 - Bears 17.

Do we have any in-house creatives that can throw out some options?

I'm not tired of Jim Brown and Bernie Kosar as the headliners at the top display banner of this page. They're just beginning to grow on me. Plus they're from so far back in time. Couldn't possibly do justice without moving forward just a fraction in time. I'm not sure who immediately followed Jim Brown, but whatever next era would have to be represented, surely not more recent than Mack and Byner. and Forward from Bernie? Who, Tim Couch? or Testeverde? Certainly wouldn't be right to skip them, for more recent eras.
I never gave it much thought, think it's fine how it is. Just one thought.

How many years does a player have to be good before they earn a spot on the banner of this board.
Or just popular. I really liked William Green, but he didn't appear popular in messages here. William Green did less than Nick Chubb if Chubb's career ended today? I just think the bar should be substantial. How about Joe Thomas or Josh Cribbs? they never did anything? Cribbs almost set the league Kickoffs returned record, for the whole league, he was on pace to. How about Kellon Winslow II. or Josh Gordon, if they can put just anyone who looks good for a short time, would they be fine. Really doesn't matter, pretty sure there are scores of opinions on what makes a good Banner header and. (they all stink)

Leroy Kelly, Greg Pruitt Ozzie Newsome, Clay Mathews, Jerry Sherk
I could go on....

I was determined not to reply anymore, but I took aghast reading Ozzine Newsome, that would be a nightmare. Didn't he become or wasn't he the face of the ravens. for some reason, I oddly never liked him, even 5 years before the 89 season and it turned out I spent the rest of my life not liking him because I consider him one of the faces of the Ravens.

Thank you, FATE! I think eventually, I will set up an image rotator so that it goes back and forth between old and new.

Prp, Maybe you could do 3 banners, 1 with players from the 50's 60's & 70's than 1 with players from the 80's 90's & 2000's and finally 1 with current players. Just a thought.

with players from the 80's 90's & 2000's... One of these things is not like the others.

we'll just pretend the 2000's wasn't a thing... maybe a B&W - or maybe sepia and looking like an old, fading photo, image of players from the AAFL thru 1964 era, then the original, and this modern one.

The images with older players really should have Municipal Stadium and not the new place.

Hi, Purp! i love the little green elevator "up" arrow because it is raw fun.
Had a question, or maybe I don't. Maybe it is my end. When I look at the newest, I presume, recent postings in forums, the clocked time is way different from mine. Some of these say they are from the future because they are in advance of the Now in my study. Are you that big a wizard that you own a time machine? I would like to borrow the settings and buy some stocks and lay down a few bets. Is something set wrong on my end?
Thanks for the board. Works beautifully, pal.

I think it’ll be safest if we just stick with Chubb and Myles.

Maybe after this season it'll be Chubb, Myles and JOK. I'd be comfortable with that.

I know I carry no weight w/Purp, but I think it might be cool to represent eras.
For example, if we are just using three, do something like this:
Legendary: Someone like Paul Brown or Otto Graham
Middle: Someone like Ozzie, Hanfred Dixon or Frank Minnifield.
Contemporary: Someone like Joe Thomas or Myles. I really like Chubb, but I'm not sure how long he will be around. But, I would be cool w/that choice, as well.
