It was a tricky pick. KC has been playing like crap. But they have a lot of talent. So at some point I figured I would have to use them as my pick. Their upcoming schedule is brutal so I thought that this would be the best time to pick them. I in the pickems I took the Giants and the points.

Cincy -2.5 seems like such an easy pick

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

At half time the Ravens are down. They are my pick in the survival pool this week. I hope I get put out.

This week killed me

Sadly my pick this week are the Steelers. At least I made it until Monday night. I would be happier to be out of the survivor pool than see the Steelers win.

Apparently a tie counts as surviving. I suppose a tie to a winless team is as good as I could expect when I was running out of good/winning teams to pick and found myself choosing the Steelers.

Yeah, I had no idea how a tie would work out. It appears you're not picking a team to win. You're picking a team not to lose. At least now we know.

Do two ties count as being eliminated. According to the NFL a tie is considered 1/2 half win and 1/2 loss for both teams.

Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

It's really weird when Cordarrelle Patterson's status is the primary reason you make a survival pick, but it worked.

More weird than that Cordarelle is pronounced (kor Dair OH).

Knocked out by the Freddie Kitchens led Giants' offense. Bleh. Didn't help that the Eagles only scored 7.

We're down to 2.

Last two left, Pit and I both took Minnesota over Detroit and as of right now, we are both losing. Either way, this goes on another week, but if Detroit wins, we both deserve to lose.

I survived by a thin margin yesterday. NYJ tried to put it on Miami.

I'm hoping I lose today. It was hard not to pick the Raiders when we have over 20 players on the covid list and are starting our third string QB. I would much rather lose the pool than to be right.

Pit and 'Peen... both taking one for the team. That's dedication, Holmes.

Congrats on the win OCD. It was a long, hard fought battle at the end between the two of us but you outlasted me.

Thanks Pit. I won the first bit last year too. It ended in like 5 weeks or something, can't recall. Then it was restarted.

This longer win, and beating you in the end, just feels right. wink

I can't say I blame you. It would have felt the same way if I would have won.

Congrats to CaptCleveland on his week 17 victory!

Looks like Arch pretty much has this locked, heading into the final week with a seven game lead.

dnadawg was within striking distance but failed to make his picks this week... hope everything is okay on his end.
