They are selling out to stop the run.

This is the defense you run when you are going against Cody Kessler.

There's not much difference between Baker and Kessler at this point in time.

Part of me wonders if they'd do this if Keenum was in the game. They know Mayfield's struggling with his accuracy so they're playing 7-8 in the box.

POST GAME THOUGHTS

" You aren't going to beat anybody when you only score 3 points Doug"

" The Defense had 3 interceptions in the first half Doug."

"ohh, *(any quarterback who plays against the Browns) is a really good Quarterback,

I think the Browns are counting on hanging around until the rest of the NFL, starts using ... well it doesn't matter, because sometimes they DO use terrible quarterbacks,
and the Browns make them look like really good quarterbacks.

Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

I think our only chance may be to chuck it deep and hope for DPI like Carson Wentz does

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

They don't have a QB who is playing with numerous injuries. If Baker was healthy things would be different.

If you're injured to the point where you can't perform like you're supposed to, then you shouldn't be playing. You become a liability and a detriment to your team if you can't perform up to par, injury or not.
I agree. Don't know why Stefanski doesn't want to play Keenum and would rather go with QB who isn't at 100%.

I see no reason to keep running baker out there when it’s obvious he is no threat to go downfield and open up the running. Haven’t seen any pulling guard runs or anything creative to get out two best players the ball. It’s mind numbing

Don't look now, but Wentz is looking more and more like MVP/Super Bowl season Wentz by the week.

We are literally the dumbest team with personal fouls

It’s quite obvious the reason for Minnesota success when stefanski was there was kubiak

This team absolutely blows. Coaches. Players. Please get someone who understands how to call offensive plays. Please get someone who understands how to call defensive plays. Please draft a QB. Please draft another offensive tackle. Please, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, let the Cleveland Browns compete for a Super Bowl before I leave this Earth. SMH

The Browns finally have a leader in the building. It won't be long before Jim Schwartz is in charge. Thankfully.

It probably wasn’t roughing as we saw the replay.

Every week Stefanski gets worse and worse.

I used to ask when Shurmer was coach..."what were they doing all week".

That's how I've felt since about mid-season.

If the Defense can't get a 3 and out or a turnover, the game is over. Because the defense is starting to wear down.

This is right in Baltimore’s wheelhouse. Making us play from behind. Not a great vibe

Don’t blitz woods, it’s only worked for every team that’s beaten baltimore

3rd down stop. That's the indicator. Can we get a stop on 3rd down? YES WE CAN. Now the O can make it happen! WE got this Dawgs!

So Baker talks a good game and says all the right words, but in order to change the culture of a team, you got to bring it on the field. That means personal focus, studying the playbook and running the team - audibles, changing the formations, etc.

As much as we wanted him to be, Baker is not The Guy.
