These are the types of posts I'm talking about. "I'm a better fan than you are!" "No, I'm a diehard" "No, my car runs on a DieHard!"

Seriously, its like the biggest peeing (cleaned up) contest that is still allowed. Why does anybody care how hard another fan cheers?

So it's wrong to have secondary teams???

Yes, just about every Bengal fan I know has an "NFC team". I guess it's nice to have another team to fall back on and colors to sport when your team sucks.

I'm not a "real fan?"

I never said you weren't a "real" Browns fan. I just have my own personal doubts after reading your posts over the past year or so.

You might want to see if he stays if the Browns happen upon misfortune again, before you welcome him so openly and completely.

I don't believe he's a Browns fan. He's probably still got an Art Modell poster framed in his den along with all of the other Raven players. He said he was so sorry the Browns were taken away from us,yet he welcomed the Ravens with open arms. I smell a rat.

I don't appreciate being called out like this..The only saving grace that many of you have who are calling me out now is distance and a PC....That's all. I don't need to be on the computer to make friends with anyone who doesn't want to make other's welcome here!

Mike.....it's a little hard to swallow the announcement that a fan of a rival team (and not just a rival team but one with the history that the Ravens has in regard to the Browns) suddenly wants to be a card-carrying member of the Browns fanbase. Think about it.

You have always been classy.....but again, before you blast folks for doubting you or calling you a bandwagoner, think about what it looks like.

SHOW me where I have been deceptive with the Browns and please tell ME, since you know everything about me ERIK, where my loyalties are since I have been on this board....

I can't honestly say at this time where your loyalties lie Mike. Sorry dude.

You didn't think that things may go down this way with your announcement???

Like trusting him could be a danger to national security. Better watch out, letting him in might mean the team moves again. These negative reactions don't surprise me, but they are silly.

Ignorant analogy.

OK I'll stick my own neck out on the line here. As far as I know Mike is a 100 percent stand up guy. We have talked in PM's outside of the board. I could never, and I mean EVER root for another team. But lets look at this from his eyes. He was a BALTIMORE COLTS fan. He had his heart ripped out just like we did. (Forget about the teams just think about your own heart when this happened) He got a team back in his own city (Many of us would have been thrilled to get any team back once Art stole our team)

He tried his best to root for the team his city got back, but as much as he tried his heart just wasn't in it. He posted on this board for a LONG period of time and got to know many of us on a personal level, and we treated him as one of our own (in most cases) Now he wants to root for the Browns....... As for me, I got his back 100 percent. He is a good guy, and we should all welcome him into the Browns family.

Thanks for the words GM, but I think that I am not as "welcomed" as I originally thought, Thanks anyway though....

The Ravens are a disgrace, and Billick has proven that he's no "offensive genius". Third place, There They GO!

To hades with those that question your loyalty. I'm tickled pink to have an EX Raven fan cheering on the Browns with me.

Well said GM. Though I don't know Mike personally, he's always seemed like a very upstanding guy on the board... It's like Darth Vader turning his back on the darkside. All you need to do now is throw Art Modell off of the top of the stadium.

Another Browns fan is always welcome in my books.

Welcome aboard Mike.

Having been a regular reader of this and the old DT board - I think you and I have alot in common in that this message board is a BIG reason we are Browns fans?

I had an amazing time when I travelled to Cleveland for the first 2 games of the season and it was great to meet in person the people that I had been 'talking' too and reading for all those years. I will definately be back next year and cant wait to catch up with the friends I made on my first trip.

Mike= bandwagon fruntrunner.

How can you possibly be a good browns fan when you jump ship on your team like that. The answer is, you cant, you cant be a good browns fan.
