Bad news about Newsome. Bad luck

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

I would think we will. Our emergency punter is Mack Wilson.

Pretty sure he is the long snapper

Only the Browns can have a worse injury list coming off a bye week. Why do the Gods hate us so bad?

Having Phillips paired with JOK is what I’ve wanted to see. Hopefully it makes a difference

Yeah we’re gonna need him, plus he stays fresh for another week basically

I believe Lamar's injury is a HIGH ankle sprain, which can linger much longer than the lower ankle. We shall see.

I don't think they would have put that short boot on him if there were concern for a high ankle sprain. What has you believing that?

If Hunt could have come back in the second half yesterday, he can play Saturday.

We are still on the outside looking in-we need all hands on deck

Never mind on Hunt … he’s out for Saturday

D'Ernest will have pretty some solid tape on him by the end of the season for any interested teams.

How does a league celebrating its 100th season only recognize the 53 most recent championships?

We have Chubb & Johnson; we can rest Hunt. It's more important that we have him for a postseason run, should we get there. It's unlikely that having him in addition to the other two would be any sort of difference maker for Saturday.

Not having Newsome sucks, though. That would be one helluva concussion to get during a Bye Week.

What about Njoku and the other 37 TE's? Any update on the COVID Parade?

In an ideal world we would be he’s a restricted free agent and we aren’t matching anything anyone signs him to unless we are cutting Hunt loose.

Maybe our FO will decide to keep D'Ernest and let Kareem go. He has been getting hurt a lot.

I would hope not. Hunt is a separate level from Johnson. Injuries happen.
Aside from that, I want the hometown kid to finish his career here.

A second Rd tender would be quite appropriate for him. We choose to either match the $$$ or take the pick. I think we should spend a lot to keep him...whatever a lot is? I don't know.

I'll be bummed when he goes to another team. He's a good back that deserves to be higher than a distant 3rd option with the appropriate paycheck. As much as I haven't liked his play so far, I do expect better things from Felton as well as whoever they bring in this coming FA period.

There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

Johnson has set himself up to get paid fairly handsomely … we could tender him, which might be our best action

I don’t see us paying nearly $4 million for our third string running back.

I hope the Browns are interested, they have needed him every year since Hilliard left. Chubb and Hunt have neither played all 16 games I believe, (17 now), in fact what is the most either Chubb or Hunt has played in? 11-12 games by Chubb in his rookie and last/2nd year?

Have either Hunt or Chubb played in 13 or more games in a season as a Brown? #Keep D'Ernest!

Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.
