First time I saw Ben play it was a local bar in Alliance Ohio and my first time meeting GM. Man we had fun that night, but, as browns fans he took that fun away . So I really hope all the years of him beating the Browns will end when the Browns roll into their stadium and roll out out a winner.

Beating Ben in his last game in his stadium will feel so good if the Browns can pull it off. I believe the Browns can. Good bye terrible towels.

This game means beating Ben in his last home game to making another step forward to a play off game for the Browns. I never thought this game would have the meaning to it as this one does.

my memory of Ben is.... soon to be gone ! Don't let the refs win this game Browns..Take it ! own it !

my memory is going to be beating them back to back last season for a play-off win.. good enough for myself..

Browns have to win this !

Browns win 31- 20

This is what he looked like at the end of his season last year:

This is how I want to see him at the end of this season:

It won't take anything away from his accomplishments as a Canton QB, but it would be a strong visual message to all those smug, st00pit Stoolz fans: "Things are about to change for you. May you live in interesting times."

If KC doesn't beat Cincy it won't really matter if we win or lose.

In the case of Ben it was coulda, shoulda.

I respect what he has done as a player. But I would sure like to send him home a loser.

Unfortunately I see another guy we will have to deal with for a long time in Burrow.

I think of Green Bay going from Farve to Rodgers. Then reflect on where we have gone.

Back to even the blind squirrel should find an acorn now and again.

I am pulling for Baker. I want him to be good so bad. Just the thought of looking again makes me sick.

Keeping Clem's post in mind, I say to hell with KC vs Cinci. This season is what it is.... Honestly, I know making the playoffs is crucial, and I want them to, but this Browns squad is not a playoff-caliber squad. So when you put that sentiment together with Clem's, these next 2 games can be something we can hang our hats on regarding this season. A message to the division, "enjoy it while it lasts".

Oh I want KC to win, I want us to pound the Steelers. I want the last game of the season to be a game for the title vs the Bengals. I'm hoping we are as healthy as possible and see what we can do. We just took Green Bay to the last drive in a game where Baker threw 4 picks. I think we can compete because the D is hitting it's stride, we have Chubb and because I think Baker can play better. It seems the arm is still impacting his freedom of movement because of the brace - but I think he looks pain free since the bye. I'd like to see this team fight and claw on every play. And if we did get to the playoffs - who the hell knows what can happen.

I hate that Burrow ended up in Cinci. That said I can root for him because he appears to be a good kid. Ben is a scumbag. He’s an accused rapist many times over. From his college days on. Where there’s smoke there’s fire. Ben is garbage. I’ll be glad when he’s a footnote.

Before and after Burrow was drafted. I liked him. I like how he handled himself.

The first game we played against him. I was so impressed. He is tough and he is accurate.

He is going to be a problem. Now the Steelers have to find a guy. I hope it takes 50 years.

Yes.

I want to play the Bengals for the North.

We are finally getting healthy. We should be able to field a good team.

This has been a tough year. But here we are.

This season could have gone so many different ways. You look at the some of the loses and think how close we were.

But if you get into the playoffs nothing else matters. We played all the best teams and we played them close.

So hell yes I want to win out. Let's go KC and the Rams.

Beating Pittsburgh is always meaningful... especially since it's the last time we play Big Ben...

It has been reported Ben plans to retire at the end of the season. I think he is a prime example of an athlete who just hung on too long. The wear and tear of a long NFL season was showing last year but it's hard to face that you aren't who you used to be as an athlete. This season should certainly send the message to him he is done.

What I think many people are overlooking is how the Steelers prepared for this. In our only game where we faced Mason Rudolph we were certainly given every reason to hate him every bit as much as Ben. They were decimated with injuries and were favored by 10 points because of it. The outcome was that we pulled off a narrow two point victory even though the Steelers were very banged up.

Rudolph went 22 of 39, threw for 315 yards in that game with 2 td's. and 1 int. He was drafted in 2018 which has given him ample time to know the system and if the talent is there, flourish in that system.

If the rumors are true and Ben retires, we may not end up as happy as some Browns fans think we will be. I don't know. But I wouldn't overlook that possibility.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

If Mason Rudolph was all that - Pittsburgh would have said sayonara to PigPen after last year.

We can only hope that he takes over for PigPen.

I agree. We better come out aggressive and hungry for a win. I'm more worried about the Steelers defense than Ben himself even though he will want this last home game very bad.. Their last two home games they won against good teams by coming back from behind in forth Qtr.
I can't remember the last time we did that. Our 4th qtr performance has been sad.

I'm fearful the biggest obstacle to overcome Monday night will be the Referees.

Who is Ben! On the Browns? Ben Watson, TE is no longer on the Browns, Neither is Travis Benjamin Wr. frown

Well we all thought Tommy Maddox was a washed up XFL has-been, and look how that turned out. We also know that the steelers have made some sort of deal with the devil, and won't be rebuilding for long, they always have good players fall into their lap in the draft, so my guess is that they'll roll with Rudolph for a season or 2, but then they'll be right back on track

All signs point to this being Ben's last home game.

Of course by game time we will know what our playoff chances are.

So, I hope we come to play hard no matter. We owe it to Ben to send him out a loser.

If there's any justice, we will win this game. However, with our history being the way it is I wouldn't count on it. We will know Sunday night if we still have a chance. If we do and we come out and play lousy we obviously don't deserve to make the playoffs. Honestly, based on our play this season, I don't see us winning either of our last 2 games. Hope I'm wrong.

I agree that with you in terms of the refs killing us in the end. But I think the "we didn't help ourselves" is a gross understatement. As I've shown on multiple ocassions now a team with three turnovers or more wins less than 10% of the time. So yeah, "we didn't help ourselves" is putting it mildly.

Not making an argument so much as an opinion-based observation....

I found the GB game more "the refs screwed us" and less "we didn't help ourselves" than the Chargers game even though the blown call(s) in question were less egregious. We had gotten our act together in the second half and were moving the ball better. The turnover margin is pretty insurmountable, but the refs contributed there as well.

Honestly, it's a shame we're in this position. Most of it is our fault due to inconsistent play. We've had more than our share of injuries and bad calls and non- calls that have hurt us not to mention Covid. If we could somehow get into the playoffs and finally put it together, we do have the talent to make a serious run. Other than KC no one is really playing that great. I don't believe Buffalo or Indy is any better than we are. I posted earlier I really don't think we will make it based on our play this year but if by some longshot we can do it we might have a shot at making some noise. JMO

This debacle is on us, injuries, COVID, dumb coaching decisions, refs, pick your fave. And then: We are our record. If there is a form of pigskin karma, we owe Ben big payback. Hope Monday is miserable and we dish it out. I never expect anything less than a nasty, tight game, and they are better at a late comeback. Who wants it more? I think we will know in the first five minutes. Beat the refs!

Refs will turn a blind eye to Steelers penalties because it's Ben's last game at Home just like they did for a Rodgers setting the TD record at his Home stadium. We will somehow have to beat the Steelers AND the Refs, guaranteed.

I tend to agree. It seems the Browns have not earned the respect from the ref's yet. I fear the Tuesday morning talk will be about a bad call that lost us the game.
I want to see some real effort and toughness in our play. I miss the old days when these two teams hated each other and it showed on the field.

I'm not sure what I expect to see. One thing I can say with certainty however. With the playoffs possibly on the line, if the Browns can't get motivated enough to beat a declining Ben at the end of his career we don't deserve to make the playoffs.

The fear of the team coming out flat and not motivated always seems to be a concern for sure, They certainly didn't seem motivated when the Steelers game to Cleveland. My gut says they will be motivated and ready to beat Ben and end the era with Ben walking out of his stadium a beaten old boy !
