And now the end is near
And so I face the final curtain

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

If we run Chubb at all it’s very dumb

Agree... limited at practice this week with a rib injury... I wouldn't mess with that... I'd shut him down for the year.

The sadness of realizing we’re playing insignificant games to end the year sucks again

Yeah... but still a chance to beat a division rival... win 8 games which is pretty decent when you look at our record over the last 10 years... I wish we were getting ready for a playoff push... but it is what it is... Also, I am happy we were technically in the playoff hunt until the second to last week of the season...

hopefully we can win today and go into the off season with something positive...

I told myself all week that I wasn’t going to watch this game knowing full well that I would 100% be watching this game.

I took Case Keenum in a daily contest today just to have some rooting interest in this game. Otherwise don't really care what happens.

I wanted to listen to Dieken's final game in the booth. Sucks that the radio call is at least 10 seconds out of sync behind the TV action, but oh well.

Not saying it was you but a lot of people wanted to play Chubb a ton last week in an equally meaningless game.

I told my son before the raiders game-if we win one of the next two we have a shot to play cincy for a shot to get in-and we are going to be there if we have a chance for a play in game.
He asked me last night if I still felt like going to day-I told him I had no desire to go today-he was bummed-he still wanted to go

3 games ago, we were 7-6 and Cincy was 7-6; they won 3 in a row and we lost 3 in a row

Just think, those are the scripted plays. Stefanski just blows as a playcaller. It’s time to accept that

Technically we still had a shot at the playoffs and were under the assumption that he was healthy... now that we know we are out and know he has a rib injury, I don't see any reason to play him.

Our receivers are so bad when you watch other teams

We were eliminated before that game started.

But out of frustration watching that game and after a few drinks I'm not gonna doubt that I asked why Chubb wasn't on the field.

my apologizes - I thought we technically still had a chance.... either way, if he was healthy I don't mind him playing last week... see no reason to with his ribs being banged up
