To this day it is hard to believe that a GM of a NFL team drafted Manziel.
And that person was actually paid a high salary.
When scouts and GM's speak. You hear the phrase "we took him off the Board."
How Manziel was on the Board means that team had major issues.

I hated the pick when we made it, and I still hate it. Such a waste of a first round pick. I kept asking myself "what am I missing?".

In the time before the draft I remember reading a direct quote from his father.
He said his son had major issues. For a parent to say something along those lines?
Then just watching his tape. I felt he should be taken off the Board.
When I first heard an interview with Weeden. My very first thought was no teammate will listen to this guy.
And we drafted both guys. A miracle that I am still a fan.
