I remember there being a few of us saying Marcus was our pick for LT. I liked him in the first round. I LOVED him in the second. I've got good feelings about D.Q. but I'd much rather have a soon to be stud LT. Look at what that OL out in Sandy Eggo and LT are doing. Most of it's LT. A lot of it's the OL also. But even if he's only a piece of it. I'll take a piece of that any day. Heck we should have taken LT that year too. Then we could have LT and McNeill. (Sorry to go there)

Who cares? We own the third pick now and unless we decide to win next week (which wont be suprising) we will be hearing " with the 3rd pick in the 2007 NFL Draft the Cleveland Browns select Joe Thomas out of Wisconsin."

Most likely we will win next week and then drop 2 or 3 spots and not be able to make a trade and be stuck taking someone we don't really need.

[color:"white"]Hehehe........There's a cole in your stocking for that one. Now, if you just wait until we win the Super Bowl, it'll be a diamond. [/color]

I like McNeill as much as anyone. I was not surprized when the Browns passed on him when Schaffer was signed. He is a good player and it should be no surprize that LT's yards are coming behind McNeill and the left side of SD's line. He stated that there was a lot of mis-information regarding his back and that was very frustrating.

But we went with DQ and I am fine with that. Players that can start for 5 or 10 years is what this team desparately needs.

My concern picks were Wilson in the 3rd, Sowells and Williams in the 4th. Wilson sat for the most part this year, but probably not next with the departure of Northcutt. Sowells needs to emerge. Williams was a value pick in the 4th, but after dropping a 1 and 2 on LB's the concern is that the Browns cupboard may be overfilled.

Welcome back, Joe, we missed you!

I think Williams may emerge as a better talent than Dra, or at least equal, making him good depth and right now a potential starter. He's played very well in these past few games, now we need to see if he can keep up the good play. If he emerges then maybe we can trade Thompson and a pick for something we really need, OL, DL, or RB. Michael Turner of the Chargers comes to mind. Also Chris Perry of Cincy is an RFA too.

I was trying to make a joke post because there's nothing else good talk about this season. I posted a naughty devil and a roll on the floor laughing. (unless those no longer mean what they used to?) Toad you must have been cranky!
