Above link is to a website that posts as many Black Friday ads as they can. Though, last time I looked, there were several that had been removed for whatever reason or other.

Anyone looking for a very basic, small KitchenAid mixer...hit up the Kohl's early bird specials. Our smallest mixer will be at $129.99, cheaper than I can get it with even my employee discount.

Wow, 65" Mitsubishi DLP for $1,500 at Best Buy. That's really cheap...

I'll be as far away as I can possibly be....literally My flight leaves at 5:30 am so I'll be way high up in the air when the doors swing open.

I generally try to avoid black Friday... but by the same token, I don't like the idea of doing all of my Christmas shopping via the internet.. I hear it all the time, avoid the parking, avoid the lines, avoid the people... I'm sorry, but getting out among the people is half the fun for me... seeing the decorations, hearing the music... that is a large part of what gets me in the spirit, it's not about sitting at my keyboard finding the lowest price on the perfect gift.

The Circuit City near me said they may have Wii's that morning. I don't know if waiting out front of that store at 4 am is worth it (since they open at 5 am).

I do want a Wii......but I want to buy it at Toy R Us. We have leftover Baby Shower gift cards to get rid of. Too bad they don't have any.

You're using baby shower gift cards to buy yourself a Wii? And I thought I was low...

I found a $100 babies R Us gift card someone got us for Ali. So I bought her a few video games for her VTech game system. I think it was Bert and Ernie, Spongebob, and Madden 08.

If it's any consolation ... They were probably all in $5 increments.

I went out last year at 5am to Circuit City, something I would NEVER normally do, to get hooked up with one of those doorbuster, early bird specials for a Samsung DLP HDTV, and over to Best Buy for a MP3 player at a 1/2 off price.

This year I'm looking for a video camera to have for my daughter at Christmas time. If I see a great deal that's for first thing in the morning, I'll drag my butt up again, but that was WAY too early to get up. I've been looking out at the ads, but last year I was able to get those deals because it was unadvertised. It wasn't in the printed ads at all, I found it on a website that showed "hidden" Black Friday sales, which was cool.

I try to avoid this day at all costs, honestly its not worth it to me. Two years ago during my sophmore year my computer busted and I needed a new one, this happened a week before black friday so I figured I could wait and get a really good deal at best buy that day. I even got up at 3:30 and was in line by 4:15....THERE WERE AT LEAST 150 PEOPLE ALREADY WAITING!

I went in and tried to look at different brands and deals to see what best fit me but by the time I could even hear details on one of the comps, they were sold out. I actually had to wait another week before I could get the one I wanted.

Unfortunately it seems I promised my girlfriend last month we'd go to Easton this friday. If I don't return, I love you all.

I'd venture a guess that I am about as far away from black Friday shopping in the States as you can get .. But I can tell you that Living down here now for few years now , I sure do miss mixing with the folks in the Holiday season .

One of my favorite spots was the old Parma Home Bakery .. Closed for some time now , but what a cool place. Bakery on one side and the meat dept. on the other .

Yes!! I was wondering who would catch it first - its a bit of an obscure line.

And I was born in '76.....but Airplane is a classic.

Ha ha ha! Yeah, it does sound bad I suppose.

Well, we had five baby showers (and yes, I was dressed up like a monkey for each). One in Cleveland with my family, one in Chicago for her family, another in Chicago for our friends and two more at our work. We got everything on our registry and then some. I guess we could use it for diapers and formula but what fun would that be?

Plus, she'll be able to play with the system in a few years right?

Thanks PS - I'm getting that for my Browns fan brother in Columbus (baby due in February). His wife is a Bengal fan - they are having a girl - but she WILL be a Browns fan.

Like it'll be that hard to sway her anyways.....

I somewhat agree DC.

I Do alot of my Christmas shopping online, but the wife and I will head out Saturday to a shopping center or something, and get something to eat and walk around and look at the decorations and displays and stuff, but won't usually shop and carry around packages. We often look at items in the store and write down the item number and order it online when we get home.

I like to go out shopping a few times just to see all the decorations and people. I wouldn't go out on Black Friday if you paid me!

I am not sure....I thought it was www.blackfriday.info but as of last night, there wasn't anything "hidden" on there. Maybe they'll show it soon. If I remember right, it was like 2 days prior that I saw it last year. I remember going to Circuit City last year, and the price on the TV wasn't what the site was advertising. So I asked the guy and he confirmed it was an unadvertised deal. Pretty sweet.

Yeah, this was a TV that was NOT listed in their ads, was NOT listed in the store as being on sale. The price listed on the TV at Circuit City was $1199. I asked the guy, "hey, isn't this TV on sale for $799?"

"Yeah, it is," he said.

Couldn't beat that. $400 off of the TV for a doorbuster sale. Nobody else seemed to be buying it, and their was a HUGE line that I waited in for over an hour, almost an hour and a half.
