Notice the new usage of words like 3rd world and banana republic? This must be the new angle to attack Biden. If they spent half as much time reading a book or legislating in good faith, they might not all be feeling so ostracized. Poor poor GOPer victims...

President Biden seems to praise high gas prices as 'incredible transition' Americans must go through
The record-high national average for a gallon of regular gas is $4.56, and is much higher in some states

By Adam Sabes | Fox News

President Biden said that the country is going through an "incredible transition" away from fossil fuels via the high gas prices being experienced nationwide.

Biden made the statement on gas prices during a joint press conference with Japan Prime Minister Fumio Kishida on Monday.

"Here’s the situation. And when it comes to the gas prices, we’re going through an incredible transition that is taking place that, God willing, when it’s over, we’ll be stronger and the world will be stronger and less reliant on fossil fuels when this is over," Biden said, seeming to justify or praise those sky-high prices Americans face at the pump.

Biden's comments come amid a stretch of record-high gas prices which the American Automobile Association says is "unprecedented."

The national average for a gallon of regular gas stands at $4.56 as of Monday, which is more than $.40 higher than it was just a month ago.

In parts of the country such as California, however, the average price for a gallon of regular gas reached $6.06 on Monday.

Biden added during the press conference on Monday that his administration has taken steps to prevent the price at the pump from going even higher, such as the release of 1 million barrels of oil from the U.S. Strategic Petroleum reserve.

"And what I’ve been able to do to keep it from getting even worse — and it’s bad. The price of gas at the pump is something that I told you — you heard me say before — it would be a matter of great discussion at my kitchen table when I was a kid growing up. It’s affecting a lot of families," Biden said.

"But we have released over two hundred and, I think, fifty-seven thousand — million barrels of oil, I should say. Us and the rest of the world we convinced to get involved. It’s helped, but it’s not been enough," he added.

The White House has shifted some of the blame for higher gas prices as a result of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, calling it a "Putin spike at the gas pump."

"Let me first say that Americans are paying a higher price at the pump because of the actions of President Putin," then-White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki told reporters in March. "This is a Putin spike at the gas pump, not one prompted by our sanctions."

Biden's comments on Monday were ridiculed by several Republicans who said that the president is now "saying the quiet part out loud now."

"They’re saying the quiet part out loud now. They’re causing you pain at the pump because it’s all part of their radical agenda," said Rep. Steve Scalise, R-La.

Biden instituted policies some that say are anti-energy during his first hours in office, including canceling the Keystone XL pipeline that would have moved more than 800,000 barrels of crude oil per day from Canada to Texas, and "pausing" oil and gas leases on federal lands. The Biden administration has also canceled multiple federal oil and gas lease sales, some as recently as this month amid the gas price surge.

Democrats Are Attempting a Divide-and-Conquer Strategy Pitting GOPe Against “MAGA Republicans”
By J.D. Rucker • May. 24, 2022

[Linked Image from thelibertydaily.com]

A unified Republican Party is almost impossible to stop in America. The last time we came close to having one was under Ronald Reagan. Even as successful as Donald Trump was at uniting Republican voters, his opponents in the GOP Establishment were working feverishly behind the scenes to undermine him and tear down his influence. They tried the same thing with Reagan, but were not as heavily funded as they are today.

Democrats are seizing on this, embracing their fellow swamp-dwellers in the GOP Establishment to take down “MAGA Republicans.” I prefer to think of us as America First Patriots, but since the MAGA movement is what really got all of this started, it’s fair to use that term as well. We truly do want to make America great again, and neither the Democrats nor the GOPe has any intention of letting that happen.

Listen to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer invoke “MAGA Republicans” and associate it with concepts like White Replacement in an effort to not only aid his RINO cronies in retaking control of the GOP but also convert centrist voters into Democrats:

.@SenSchumer: "I know not all Republicans embrace the views of MAGA Republicans. I know many of them support women's rights and embrace diversity and reject conspiracies like White replacement. I urge these Republicans […] to repudiate the MAGA wing taking over the GOP."

— The Hill (@thehill) May 24, 2022

As I covered in the latest episode of America First Report, we cannot allow that to happen. In fact, we should use Schumer’s words as well as the words of RINOs like Mike Pence and The Lincoln Project to remind patriotic Americans that they’re being gaslighted by The Swamp. If they want to divide us based on our patriotism, so be it. Terms accepted.

The distinction between RINOs and Democrats is minimal. As I’ve said many times in the past, primary elections are far more important than the general election because if we vote in a bunch of RINOs, we will not change America for the better. They’re all in The Swamp.

There are really three major parties in America. There are the radical leftist “Democrat Socialists” like Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. There are the “MAGA Republicans,” as Schumer has labeled us, like Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis. Then, there’s the Uniparty, also known as The Swamp. They are made up of the joint forces of Establishment Democrats and Establishment Republicans who use Kabuki Theater to pretend to be opposed to one another in public while hanging out together at the DC Country Club making policies that put America last.

If you love the news, check out The Liberty Daily's homepage.
This attempt by Schumer, Pence, and others to invoke identity politics against Republicans in an effort to divide us is desperate, but unfortunately it can be effective. Republicans are so scared of being labeled as racists. It’s a false label for the vast majority of Republicans, but people like Schumer and Pence try to invoke it constantly. Schumer is even trying to use “women’s rights” as a way to pull milquetoast centrist Republicans to his side by claiming some abortion restrictions are better than abolishing the murder or preborn babies. It’s disgusting.

We need to fight harder against The Swamp. If that means we should divide the party by accepting Schumer’s label of “MAGA Republicans,” so be it. I see nothing wrong with wanting to make America great again.

Rep. Ralph Norman, House Freedom Caucus Call on Biden to Drop WHO Amendments

By Mark Tapscott May 23, 2022 Updated: May 23, 2022biggersmaller Print
Rep. Ralph Norman (R-S.C.) told The Epoch Times on May 23 that President Joe Biden’s proposed amendments to the World Health Organization’s (WHO) authority are “the greatest threat to our sovereignty that we’ve faced in a long time.”

The South Carolina Republican said “for this administration to sell this country down the river like he’s doing to deal with somebody who is under the influence of China, who is a person who has not had the first inclination to investigate where the Coronavirus came from, to give him more authority? We’re going to ring the bells.”

The individual Norman was referencing is Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, who has been WHO Director-General since 2017. Tedros is the former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia.

As previously reported by The Epoch Times, Tedros would receive significant authority to act unilaterally if a package of Biden administration-proposed amendments to the United Nations International Health Regulations (IHR) are adopted. The IHR defines WHO’s regulatory powers regarding public health issues around the world.

Biden’s amendments are to be considered this week during the World Health Assembly Annual Conference in Geneva, Switzerland. The WHO is under the assembly. The United States provides more than $150 million in assessed contributions to fund WHO, and has given on average an additional $262 million in annual voluntary funding since 2012.

Under the proposed amendments, WHO would be empowered to declare a public health emergency in any country regardless of whether officials in the country concur with the declaration. The WHO Director-General would also be allowed to rely on evidence from sources other than those approved by the affected country as the basis of such a declaration.

The Biden WHO amendments are the latest step in the current president’s efforts to reintegrate the United States with WHO after his predecessor, President Donald Trump, slashed U.S. funding to the international health organization and then gave notice of U.S. withdrawal in 2020. Biden during his first week in the Oval Office repealed Trump’s withdrawal notice.

The amendments were drafted at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and circulated among WHO officials in January, but the proposals were not publicly discussed by federal officials until April.

Asked if he expects that a Republican congressional majority elected in November would move to defund the U.S. contributions to WHO, Norman said, “This is a complete sellout. It shows the corruption of the administration and, yes, we are going to do everything we can, particularly if we can take the House with good numbers that will give us leverage, and the Senate as well. Put the handcuffs on Biden and on Tedros as far as what they are doing.”

The U.S. was assessed $120.5 million in dues by the UN for 2020, but only about half of that amount was paid before Trump issued his withdrawal notice. The U.S. has also provided additional annual voluntary contributions totaling on average $262 million since 2012.

In a related development on May 23, the House Freedom Caucus, an assembly of the lower chamber’s most reliably conservative members, made public its letter to Biden demanding that he “halt your efforts to empower [WHO] and instead either immediately resume President Trump’s withdrawal from the body or, at the very least, push serious reforms to aggressively correct the organization’s rampant corruption and ineffectual leadership.”

Tedros is all but assured of a second term as WHO Director-General because no opposition candidates have been submitted.

The House Freedom Caucus also told Biden that “not only did you fail to propose an alternative candidate to Dr. Tedros … you are now attempting to hand him more control. We call on you to instead use the 75th World Health Assembly as an opportunity to demand a radical course correction and change in leadership.” A copy of the letter was made available to The Epoch Times. Norman is one of the group’s 42 House members.

The letter further said that “as efforts continue by WHO Member States to negotiate a ‘global pandemic treaty,’ we demand that you provide the American people with total transparency and respect for our nation’s sovereignty. Under no circumstances should you cede our government’s operational control in a public health emergency to an international body.”

If such a treaty is agreed-upon by WHO members, the letter said “we expect you to fully comply with Article II, Section 2 of the U.S. Constitution, which clearly states that ‘the President shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur.’”

You don't have to try and divide a party whose current top prospect to be the 2024 presidential nomination calls others in his own party names and attacks them. They're currently dividing and conquering themselves. The sane verses the insane.

A Muslim Terrorist Used Biden’s Open Borders in Assassination Plot Against George W. Bush — When Will RINO Squishes Wake Up?
By J.D. Rucker • May. 24, 2022

It wouldn’t matter to Democrats if a million terrorists crossed our southern border at once. They’d still manufacture a false moral high ground to justify their open borders policies. But Republicans aren’t supposed to be that stupid, so why are there so few on Capitol Hill who are attempting to stop the Biden regime’s assistance for invaders?

Perhaps a recently foiled plot by an ISIS terrorist who planned on assassinating one of their RINO heroes will wake them up. According to Fox News:

A man affiliated with ISIS is under arrest for his participation in an alleged plot to assassinate former President George W. Bush.

“An Iraqi citizen living in Columbus, Ohio, has been charged federally with an immigration crime and with aiding and abetting a plot to murder former United States President George W. Bush,” the Justice Department said in a press release on Tuesday.

The statement added that the suspect, identified as 52-year-old Shihab Ahmed Shihab Shihab, originally came to the United States in September 2020 on a visitor visa and filed for asylum in March 2021 which is pending review.

As readers will notice, the terrorist wasn’t here illegally, so what do open borders have to do with it? Sadly, Fox News buried the lede [emphasis added]:

***Support The Liberty Daily and Mike Lindell -- use code TLD at MyPillow.com and get up to 66% off!***
Shihab, according to the Department of Justice, exchanged money with other individuals in an attempt to illegally smuggle foreign nationals into the United States and specifically planned to help four Iraqi nationals come into the United States across the southern border to help kill Bush.

Senator Ted Cruz, one of the few on Capitol Hill still fighting to secure our southern border, had this to say about the report:

If you love the news, check out The Liberty Daily's homepage.
Stunning. This bombshell report puts it in the absolute starkest terms the necessity to secure the border NOW. #BidenBorderCrisis

Stunning.

— Ted Cruz (@tedcruz) May 24, 2022

Are we going to wait for the next 9/11 or worse before the feckless GOP takes the southern border seriously? Sadly, RINOs are making headway in taking back the GOP, which means the border will not get addressed any time soon.

So none of them ever illegally crossed the border. Thanks.

'It Doesn't Exist' - Candace Owens Takes AOC Apart Over Outright Lie About School Shootings
By Elizabeth Stauffer May 25, 2022 at 10:04am

It took about a nanosecond for liberals to take aim at the gun lobby after news of the tragedy at the Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, broke on Tuesday.

The gunman ended the lives of at least 19 children and two teachers before being gunned down himself by a Border Patrol agent.

Few reactions, however, reached quite the level of vacuity as that from New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

The ditsy, empty-headed Democratic socialist took to Twitter to attack conservatives for “supporting laws that let children be shot in their schools, elders in grocery stores, worshippers in their houses of faith, survivors by abusers, or anyone in a crowded place.”

The statement is ridiculous on its face. There is no law that “let children be shot” any more than there are laws that “allow” pedestrians to be run over by drunk drivers.

The right of the people to keep and bear arms is guaranteed by the Consitution. That is not license for any individual to use a gun to take innocent lives, just like a driver’s license isn’t permission to use a vehicle to mow down children being dismissed from school.

Conservative commentator Candace Owens responded to the congresswoman in signature style challenging her to “name the law” she was referring to.

“You won’t name it because it doesn’t exist,” Owens wrote.

“You are [a] shameless, bought-and-paid for politician, standing on the bodies of dead children to score political points.”

And bringing abortion into the mix only added to the insanity of her argument, considering that more than 60 million abortions have been performed in the United States since the 1973 Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision that legalized the procedure nationwide.

Related: Dems Call for Abolishing Filibuster, Packing Court After Report Roe v. Wade Will Be Overturned
As National Review’s Dan McLaughlin responded, “Mouth-Breather AOC whatabouting herself into saying the intentional death of 63 million children is just a statistic.”

Other commentators agreed:

The Ocasio-Cortez tweet, like many of AOC’s posts on social media, shows she is far more impulsive than she is intelligent.

She would do well to pause and reflect before hitting the send button in the future.

Isn’t it ironic though? You know, like Pro lifers on capital hill doing nothing to protect the living and pulling out all stops to protect the unborn. The same enthusiasm could work here to get something passed right?

I understand it's the anniversary, but sometimes you just need to bite your lip. Biden also ceremoniously signed his executive order for police reform today because it was the anniversary. It was planned for some time so I guess "it is what it is". I won't think any less of Obama, but yes, poor taste.

Somebody has to call the POS Abbott out. I applaud Beto for that, just not his timing or where he went after him. Abbott, Desantis, and Trump are all cancers on America.

As a matter of fact after hearing Abbott's BS after and that hick ass old man that called him a sick SOB, I absolutely agree with the people there who wanted him to say his piece... freedom of speech... sure, right. Beto called out the real issue, republicans who won't do a damn thing to prevent the next one.

This is what happens when people have no idea of the context. Rather than wait for or look at the facts they jump to the worst possible conclusion. Obama's comment was about Biden signing an executive order on federal policing on the second anniversary of George Floyd's death.

Ever notice how those that are most responsible for these circumstances are the ones crying the loudest when EVERYONE calls them out? Smh. Obama is far from the problem here.

AND YES I'M TALKING ABOUT THOSE WHO ADVOCATE 2A and general gun dumbassery. When we make killers like Kyle Rittenhouse a hero, or cheer when a George Zimmerman gets off scott free, or cheer for gun toting thugs storming state houses... Yeah, you ARE the problem. If you can't find it in your heart to try to compromise just enough to save kids like this, then you are the problem. If you vote for politicians in the pocket of the NRA, you are the problem. I could go on for days, but everyone gets the gist. If you can't look in the mirror and say I'm willing to give a little to save children, don't bother telling us how bad you are treated, how your rights are being trampled, how you don't deserve to be lumped into a group and judged... We don't care if you CAN'T care.

We don't care if you CAN'T care.

You say compromise, but you really mean everyone else should give up what you don't like you will continue to ask for more.

I keep hearing compromise but really what it means is "Let us ban a subset of guns so we don't ban the whole lot"

It's not a spin. For anyone who doesn't have comprehension issues it covered both topics in the same post.

And for anyone confused by arch, this is is not a quote made by Obama.

"We grieve the children, but, hey, George Floyd man, George Floyd."

It's the spin he was accusing others of.

And you know, as well as anyone and everyone that read my post, exactly what I meant.

I know you can't grasp the basic concept of his post. I know you created a false quote based on something you made up to make it sound the way you wanted it to. That's what I know.

Either you quoted him or you didn't. You didn't. Either you phrased a false quote in a way to back up your allegations or you didn't. You did.

I guess Obama is not allowed to talk about more than one senseless murder at a time. Mentioning the two year anniversary was code for BLM and Antifa to get ready to march. Was just on the official Antifa website and membership has almost tripled since that summer. And you should see the riot gear and gasmasks! Badass.

lol, I know. But let them look for it. None of them have EVER found it.

That doesn't change anything you did. The difference here is once he found out what the context was, he shut the hell up. Too bad you weren't smart enough to do the same thing.

Haha, shut the hell up?! Because people choose not to reply to every post of yours doesn't mean you changed their mind or realized they were wrong. Usually, one simply doesn't want to engage with your garbage ass comments for a variety of reasons. You've read those reasons all the time and they are wildly accurate.

Anyone who followed the news that day knew of the George Floyd element. The fact Obama still tweeted this out was dumb. It is still dumb and will remain dumb.

This is the truth. I won't even respond to him because he deliberately twists the meaning of many poster's words and he even resorts to putting fake statements w/in quotation marks. Toxic.
