Most of those that gave their lives wouldn't recognize what we've become. It's hard to honor them knowing that. Fascists in the government, blood in the streets and schools, predators in the churches, capitalism and corporatism run amok, and divides so deep we might as well be in a civil war. I'm sorry this is how we repay their sacrifices. I'm sorry they were duped into dying for us.
