up untill now the Browns have found most of thier success through the Air, thats no secret. But my question is what happens when the weather does not permit the air attack? I dont think our running game is strong enough to carry the load and cover for the lack of passing. Our O-line has been excelling in pass blocking and have been below average in run blocking. These last 6 games are crucial if we want to make it to the playoffs, I believe being able to drop back and pass consistently is the biggest key to our success.

what do we have to do to be able to change gears effectively?

The weather shouldnt matter to much DA throws a tight spiral with plenty of velocity. If anything it may open more plays for the passing game cause Lewis is a mudder.

The same thing that happens in GB and that happened in cities like Buffalo when Jim Kelly was there. You still throw the ball. This is the NFL teams still throw when it's cold and snowing. They also do it with success.

Actually what I noticed the last few years is that if the field if snowy and slippery, many teams start going to the short dump passes, I figure because the RB and blockers can't get traction.

Come on any diehard fan has been out in the snow playing football with it well below zero. U have gloves on it aint that big of a deal. Hasnt seemed to hurt Bret Farve's stats although i am sure it hurt their receivers hands lol.

We will have the advantage in cold weather because (1) We will be playing At Home, and (2) our opponents will have to catch the same block of ice. JMHO Go Brownies!!!!

I'd be more concerned of drop passes, but then again.. we don't have Dennis Dropcutt anymore..

Of our remaining opponents, only Arizona is currently ranked the top 20 in regard to rushing defense. (#11)

Houston- 21
J-E-T-S- 29
Bills- 22
Cincy- 27
SF- 24

Not only should we be able to run with more success as the season runs it's course, we must....our T.O.P. is one thing that is getting us into trouble, and we need more drives just like the one we had to open up against the Steelers in our last meeting.

Oh was that sweet....But with Cribbs bringing the ball out as far as he does...I don`t mind the short drives....and the lack of t.o.p.......

rub it in.

A lot of us remember mack running over folks late in the year. hopefully jamal runs like he did last Sunday for the rest of the year.

having tuck at G seems to of helped our running game against the rats, he's strong and nasty at the point of attack.

We're trying to throw the ball downfield and he checked the ball down to Trent Richardson and the Indians on the choice.
