Well it's been 24 hours since you posted your situation and asked for advice. The majority suggested that you "get down on it" while some more mature folks said to stay away from the company's fringe benefits.
"....she hit's me and picks on me and I also notice that when she comes in on her way out she pulls up her shirt while she's walking away just enough for me to get a nice glance at her cute little buns. GRRR, haha. If that doesn't scream come get me I don't know what does."
Listen what the hell do I know? I've been married 34 years to an 18 year old hottie who had the nicest buns and frontage property that I had ever seen. She was very pretty and a bit flirty....it took me 2 weeks to get the first date and 3 months to marry her!!!!
I never have regretted it and consider myself very lucky that I leaped before I crawled in this instance.
"What 'ya gonna do if you really won't take a chance?"
"Get down on it! Get down on it baby!" Good luck....how bad could it be?

One of the worst things to go through life with is thinking "what if..."
Go for it, man! You'll never know unless you try.
I am unfamiliar with this feeling of optimism

and personally Ive been in 4 intra-work relationships, and (dont get mad ladies) the only one that even remotely worked was the one where we both knew we were just in it for the physical aspect... the ones that we tried to have a traditional relationship never stood a chance......always to many chatty cathys at the work place

Well theres always the christmas party. We all always get drunk so that seems like an appropriate setting to talk to her a bit more.
Theres always people around when she comes back so I don't really get an opportunity to talk to her privately even if I did conjure up enough nuts to ask her anything. Wouldn't want to ask her anything like that in front of co-workers.
There's a saying: Don't get your meat where you get your bread and butter.
BUT, If you feel you must...
I would have a non-company happy hour and invite a few closer co-workers and her. After awhile tell just her you are going to a different establishment and ask her if she wants to go. She should have an idea of what's going on at this point and what she says/does should clue you in.
Step softly at the Christmas party if it is a "company sanctioned" event. Sexual harassment lives and breathes at these events and you wouldn't even think that something that happened was a big deal. I know because we no longer have a company party due to some actions and words by an employee (had to be fired) that happened much later in the evening at the establishment where we had the party. One wouldn't think that a company would be responsible at 9:00 PM, but we would have been if we didn't take actions against the "harasser".

so where do you pick up these 18 year olds and do they mind you marrying a new girl each year?
as for Rabiddawg's comment, yes its a chance i'll take and if things go farther i hope it wont happen and hope she'll settle down in marriage if it ever gets that far.. but it's a risk i am willing to take because she is worth it. She fits me too well to let her go that easily..
But as far as that happening, it's a risk in any relationship. So, it's not like it won't happen here.. i'm just hoping it wont. but I am accepting the risk this time and it'll be more my fault. I can deal with that.

I'm not going to just jump right in and go for it because of the consequences.
We didn't really talk all that much before but we have been getting alot more chatty and flirty lately.
I think I gotta get to know her a bit better before I ask her to do anything. But I don't want to get to know her too much because I don't want to wander into the "friend zone".
She was at it again today. But I couldn't catch her when she wasn't around any co-workers.

The problem with having a happy hour get together is the fact that alot of us get off at different times. We don't have designated hours we just work until we get our stuff done or have seen all the patients.
Plus living a while apart it's hard to get together at the same time.

You can always publicize the fact that you're heading to (pick a bar) this Sunday for the Browns game, see if she bites and comes up there. Worst case scenario, you're at a bar watching the Browns regardless.

That could be a good idea.
My buddy and his band played a show last saturday and I was going to tell her Friday she should stop up and hang out but she didn't end up working Friday. I was going to tell her wednesday but I left work and forgot about it and we didn't work Thursday because of Thanksgiving.

Haha. Maybe, I heard he looks like Bruce Willis. Now if that's the younger Bruce or older Bruce I have no clue.
She totally doesn't seem like the girl that would like to fish.

i can only give you my 2 cents on this issue, but...
you need to find out if she has a boyfriend
if she's playing around with you, there is a good chance she does like you, but it's not always like that...
invite her to a party, or some kind of a function with friends...
and also, this is the biggest thing, only take it farther if you really, really like her... because, from experience, i've learned that dating co-workers can get very messy... and i've also seen from a third-party perspective that 2 people who work together can go on to have a great relationship that can get very serious...
in the end, it will be your own judgement...
you only live once though, so if you want it, go for it...

I can't say this from personal experience about dating co-workers for obvious reasons. BUT, My Mom was a dispatcher and my Dad was police officer back in Ohio at the same Police Department, and they got to know each other good, and low and behold here they are married for almost 15 years... I don't get the big deal with scoping for coworker dates....

Good luck clutch, but reading this thread, I feel like I'm back in junior high. Maybe you should pass her a note in biology class, or perhaps wait until the prom. S**t, or get off the pot.

not everyone ends up married, sometimes things get ugly, and it gets to the point where you don't want to work with the person, i guess it depends on how big the company, and if you guys see each other a lot... if it's a gigantic place, i'm sure it wouldn't be bad...
that's awesome that your mom was a dispatcher, that's what my girlfriend does, what department does she work for?

You too! Well I am 6'5" 250 of rock hard muscle. We can get together and talk about our "training"
Seriously though...I'd try a non committal test of the waters. Someone mentioned goin out to watch the Browns game. Somethin casual, where you get a good chance to talk to her, find out whats goin on.
You definitely don't want to go all out, considering you work with her. Something casual is the best way to go.

Well. She came to the Christmas party with her boyfriend so we didn't get any chance at all to talk.
Still wussing out pretty much. haha.
I don't know, she came and got me two days in a row to go outside to talk but yesterday our buisness manager pulled up and she hurried up and snuck inside because she said we weren't allowed to be smoking together anymore. Not sure what that is all about. I came in late today because I had some stuff to do and when I got there she said she had been waiting for me all day.
Also when we were out smoking yesterday we were talking about her wanting to get a new car but she couldn't find one she wanted that wasn't stick. Another guy I work with told her, well he will teach you how to drive a stick. She just kind of laughed and said I know what stick your talking about, your being bad.
I don't know man, this whole work thing makes me nervous, especially now that I heard we aren't supposed to smoke together anymore. Something is fishy there.

Yeah that is what i'm thinking.
But who knows, i'm not going to chase after her but by some stroke of fate that something somewhere other than work were to happen then I guess I will just roll with it.
Oh well there are a ton of other girls out there. Not sweating this one.
