I decided to start a new thread because we were discussing the OL grades on the Hudson thread and the DT grades in the Post game thread. I don't have all of them yet as they haven't released the team grade. What I was able to do is type in each guy's name and then click out of the 2021 season and put in 2022. It was a pain in the butt. The grades were a little lower overall than I expected.

Offensive Line:

Hudson: Run: 80.9 Pass: 73.3 Overall: 76.0

Teller: Run: 80.4 Pass: 84.7 Overall: 85.9

Pocic: Run: 53.5 Pass: 73.3 Overall: 51.3

Bitonio: Run: 58.7 Pass: 55.6 Overall: 59.0

Wills: Run: 42.9 Pass: 63.0 Overall: 51.7

Defensive Line:

Elliot: Run: 63.0 Pass: 55.6 Overall: 60.2

Togia: Run: 58.5 Pass: 57.8 Overall: 71.7

Bryan: Run: 57.8 Pass: 57.4 Overall: 49.8

Myles: Run: 53.0 Pass: 94.5 Overall: 94.4

Clowney: Run: 73.2 Pass: 75.9 Overall: 76.3

Teller and Garrett with phenomenal scores. Not everyday you see Bitonio that low of a grade

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

I don't think I've ever seen Bitonio have that grade. I don't know for sure if the grades will be adjusted or not. The actual team grades are not out. Like I said, I had to type each one individually. Freaking pain.

I didn't watch the game but from everything I've read it seems like we played inconsistent yesterday. JB hit some throws but also missed wide open guys. Our D played well overall but then gave up some big plays because of miscommunication. We got away with that with Carolina but you won't beat good teams with that play and we have too many good teams on the schedule. JMO

I thought the word on Pocic was his strength was with the run but NOT the pass.

I gotta watch the game again, but I got the feeling that we started off super strong and then got inconsistent. Wills started looking kinda bad at the end of the game (my impression).

You are correct. Last year, his run blocking grade was pretty damn good and his pass blocking grade was awful.

My assumption would be that we wore down a little bit (as probably every team did yesterday) and got sloppy with technique and execution

Sample size of 1 and all... just a couple parts of those grades that have me scratching my head. I don't ever recall Bitonio jumping off the screen in a bad way.

Thank you for posting those!

Especially the Togia numbers.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

I still can't find all the Browns PFF grades, but here is an article about the best and worst Panther grades.

Best and worst PFF grades from Panthers' Week 1 loss to Browns

Anthony Rizzuti follow
September 12, 2022 3:30 pm ET

You know a lot of these numbers we’re about to show you from the Carolina Panthers’ season-opening loss to the Cleveland Browns aren’t going to be pretty. But, we’ll show you anyway . . . because we’re that nice.

Here are the best and worst Pro Football Focus grades from the Week 1 defeat.

Best of the offense

Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports

1. RB Christian McCaffrey: 79.5
2. C Pat Elflein: 69.1
3. WR DJ Moore: 69.0
4. LG Brady Christensen: 68.9
5. RG Austin Corbett: 64.0

McCaffrey wasn’t used like he normally was, but he made the best out of it. The sixth-year rusher amassed 57 yards and a touchdown from scrimmage and even turned a botched snap in a clutch 32-yard pickup.

Meanwhile, the trio of Elflein, Christensen and Corbett allowed a combined zero sacks and four hurries.

Worst of the offense

11. TE Giovanni Ricci: 51.8
12. QB Baker Mayfield: 47.0
13. RB D’Onta Foreman: 44.8
14. TE Tommy Tremble: 44.7
15. LT Ikem Ekwonu: 41.1

Ekwonu’s regular-season debut might be one to forget, as least as far as these grades go. The 2022 sixth overall pick was charged with four total pressures—two sacks and two hurries.

Mayfield felt some of the effect from that, eating four takedowns on the afternoon. Overall, he completed 16 of his 276 throws for 235 yards, one touchdown and one interception along with a 7-yard rushing score.

Best of the defense

Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports

1. DB Myles Hartsfield: 84.5
2. S Xavier Woods: 77.2
3. DE Henry Anderson: 73.6
4. DT Derrick Brown: 70.3
5. DT Matt Ioannidis: 67.1

Woods and Anderson had a couple of positive team debuts. They combined for 10 tackles, five of which registered as stops.

Worst of the defense

AP Photo/Brian Westerholt

14. CB Jaycee Horn: 49.4
15. S Jeremy Chinn: 49.2
16. LB Frankie Luvu: 47.7
17. LB Damien Wilson: 36.7
18. DT Phil Hoskins: 28.4

Horn probably didn’t have the return he had hoped for. 2021’s eighth overall selection allowed four receptions for 31 yards over five targets while being penalized twice.

Luvu, in his first outing since signing a two-year extension, was credited with a team-high four missed tackles.

Carolina’s defense really didn’t take advantage of our lack of QB play. Hats off to us for avoiding big mistakes

He played much, much worse than I thought. smile

I think the kindest thing you could say about Bake yesterday was he got the ball out quickly - and he hit a couple deep passes to the right guy, in stride when the coverage broke down.

Togiai is the rare name with “I - vowel - I”

Having an above average @uarterback would lift those offensive line grades. Especially if the @b had top Receivers.

Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

Amazing - for years we heard from Vers - consistently - how Baker dragged down the grades of the OL because of his poor play/decisions and time to throw.

Throw Long implied the EXACT same thing. The EXACT same thing ... and he got called a troll by that same guy.

You can't make this stuff up folks.

(PFF grades every player on every play and uses a scale of 0-100, with higher grades indicating better play. PFF has explained its grades this way: 100-90 elite; 89-85 Pro Bowler; 84-70 starter; 69-60 backup; 59-0 replaceable. In other words, it’s similar to how we would match up percentages with traditional letter grades in school.)

Before I begin, let's please remember that PFF grades are individual grades and are not influenced by those around them.

I don't have an article on the offensive grades, but league-wide grades are up on PFF and you can scroll through by position group if you have the patience.

Here are the grades that I could find:

Jacoby was the 29th qb w/a grade of 46.9. Btw.....Baker was 28th w/a grade of 47.0. Can't get any closer than that.

Chubb was ranked 4th at RB @79.3
Hunt was 16th @ 67.5

Njoku was 38th among TEs w/a grade of 56.1
Bryant was 45th at 51.4

DPJ was 37th among WRs at 68.0
Cooper was 82nd at 53.4

I could not find Schwartz or Bell. The list is very cluttered on my laptop, so maybe I missed them, but I looked twice. The other explanation is they only ranked 1oo WRs and those two guys were out of the top 100.
