The Arizona Department of Public safety is trying to determine the validity of a video showing a man driving more than 200 miles per hour in a Lamborghini on the Loop 202.
The video, which has been making rounds on the internet, claims the man reached a top speed of 219 miles per hour.
The video has appeared on both individual websites and on the popular video sharing site, YouTube.com.
In it, the Lamborghini appears to pass other vehicles on the freeway at the high rate of speed. The driver also appears to make a contest out of it all.
DPS has confirmed there’s a criminal investigation underway to determine the authenticity of the video.
The speeding appears to be happening on the San Tan Freeway portion of the Loop 202 in the Southeast Valley.
1. A piece of a truck tire in the road, small animal, drunk pedestrian or broken down vehicle and that Lambo would be shattered and the occupants dead.
2. Who the heck gets out on the freeway, stands in the middle and films the car coming passed?
I'm all for speed and power, but first rule is responsibility, and 219 on a public highway is not being responsible.

I'm not sure what to tell you. This could be similar to a while ago when there was a picture thread - some could see them and some could not. I probably see it because I embedded it.
Not sure what to do - I have to leave now.
Maybe someone could find the link to the video and post it...its all over the news out West.
That blank space is really the car going bye, our eyes & mind have a hard time accepting something going 219+ MPH......What ya have to do is get real close to your computer screen, quint your eyes real tight and if you still dont see it try closing your mouth & mumming.....by doing this it makes your eyes & mind see instead of think about seeing....try it
Sweet car but that's just so dumb, videotaping yourself breaking the law on a public highway with roadsigns visible giving law enforcent the ability to determine your exact location where this happened. The guy could get a few years in prison and have his drivers license revoked for life just to be able to say that he went 219 mph. Even though traffic was low he still put others peoples life in danger and he deserves to pay for it. Had he slammed into the back of a car going that fast everyone involved would've died, I hope the police get this guy.
Did you notice the lack of emotion in his voice during the whole thing? He is obviously detached from reality, a primary symptom of psychosis. People like this scare the hell out of me. If he keeps up this lifestyle he will kill someone eventually.
not to mention, i'm sure there aren't many of those on the road in this country....all the cops have to do is search for the owners...match the color....and pay a visit....
And his name was shown as Aaron in the video. Put 1+1+1 together, and you have a case. Not to mention tracking the IP of the videos poster, if they can get a court warrant.

I agree. I wonder how someone so irresponsible gets such an expensive car.

I was thinking that then thought, "maybe it's a rental", people do stupid things in rentals.
