With Watson gone for 11 games this season was a write-off from the beginning. That being said the defensive performance was not dependent on Watson. Also the offensive play calling needed to be altered based on the circumstances. It appears Stefanski was not up to the task before him. Unfortunately, firing either Stefanski or Woods will not result in improvement as it would make potential candidates even more skeptical of the FO and ownership.
Prediction: Watson does not play out the entire length of his contract here.
