Utah taking it USC 47-24 The 2nd half has been total Utah domination
If you get a chance, check out the highlight of the Utah Qb getting hit. When I saw it I blurted out Oh $#!t so abruptly that my sleepig dog jump up and started barking
Don't blame the clown for acting like a clown. Ask yourself why you keep going to the circus.
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."
That's a tough call. I have no doubts that the ncaa wants Alabama to get in. But do they really want 4 teams from 2 conferences? Plus it would be Georgia/Bama and UM/OSU in round 1. I don't think they would like that either. Personally I would love those matchups round 1.

I would also. But I guess one could argue that it's another conference championship weekend.

Now OSU should be back in, but shows that Utah should somehow be included in the deal.
Do you really think a 3 loss team should be in the playoff? I don't even think 2 loss teams should be considered.
It depends.
It depends on the losses and how a team is playing at the end. Not all losses are equal.
Should the NFL go to only 1 loss teams making the playoffs?
Twelve teams offer the best cross section of quality teams. Are you afraid of 12 teams? I really don't understand the resistance. Just play the damn games and the team that is supposed to win will probably win when you get to the 2 or 3 loss teams.
If everybody had like minds, we would never learn.
Both of those team have done more than enough to secure those rankings.
I think it gets interesting at #s 3 and 4.
OSU is almost certainly in. But, where will they be seeded?
TCU deserves to be in, but the SEC bias in general and Alabama bias specifically could muddle the picture. I'm going w/TCU because their resume is much better than "Bama's.
I don't think the Committee will want a TUN/OSU rematch in the first round., so I am guessing that TCU will be 3rd and OSU 4th.
Should it be Georgia vs Ohio State on NYE, the winner of that game is your national champion. Guaranteed. Michigan or TCU will get beat by 40 in the title game.

I think you overestimate the SEC/Bama bias.
Bama is good enough to be in, but 2 losses is two losses. Had OSU's loss been to a crap team, I could see it, but it wasn't. That assumes the Big 10 is any good to begin with....just a friendly dig.
I think you have the match-ups. Then again, a OSU/Michigan match would guarantee a Big 10 team in the finals, which the committee might find attractive. It's been a while since that has happened. I also think an all Big 10 final would be a dud in the ratings which the committee might want to avoid having as a possibility.
If everybody had like minds, we would never learn.
‘Peen, Ohio State was in the final 2 years ago. I don’t think it’s been “a while” since a BIG10 team has been in that game. As for conferences, The Big 10 has Ohio State and Michigan as their power teams I consider Penn State and Wisconsin marginal teams.- Good every now and then, can eat a powerhouse occasionally, but never going to win a title. I honestly don’t see much of a difference with the Sec- Alabama and Georgia as the power teams, and a bunch of marginal teams after those two.

Indeed you are correct. I forgot about that game. Didn't Bama win by about 30 points? Either way, you are right. The Big 10 did send a team in recent history.

Oh yeah ‘Bama smoked the Buckeyes. -People at my work were making excuse upon excuse the next day. All I could tell them was that ‘Bama was clearly the best team in the country and that if they played 10 times, ‘Bama would win all 10. You probably forgot about the game because it was played in an empty stadium. I think I’d be blessed to forget about that game. 😆

TCU doesn't belong in, they could not compete with Georgia, Michigan, OSU or Bama.
How could you possibly come to this conclusion? Who knows how the playoffs will go, but TCU beat more ranked teams and beat a common opponent by more points than Alabama. Their only loss is an OT loss at the 1 yard line in a Power 5 conference championship game. They deserve to be in more than Alabama or OSU.
It's not going to be the same after they allow I2 teamz into a playoff.
Remember the good old dayz when about HALF of the good teamz ended their bowl game with a win. All of those special bowls around the country. Now, eleven will end with a lozz, and, It'll only be a couple of yearz, until they let 64 teamz in.

Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.
