I have invested in a couple of things lately, taking most of my savings and putting them to better use.

I went with a managed Fidelity fund, which is up almost 8% so far this year. It is a fairly conservative fund.

I invested in a Series I bond. With the way inflation is going, the 7% I am getting there is very appealing.

Lastly I went with a larger CD at 4.5%. (15 month)

I am a little leary of overcommiting to the market right now. just feel like there is a disruption coming soon, but hopefully not an all out crash. I also think that the Fed is scared to death of inflation, which means that rates should stay where they are, or go up.

What are you doing with your hard earned moolah?

I loaded up the max in I Bonds last year (9.62%) and again when the calendar flipped (6.82%)

A no-brainer of a no-risk investment.

It would be nice if the gubment would get the fixed rate up to about 3% again (minimum payout, even if no inflation), but at least they're raising it. Hopefully they will do that as the inflation rate drops to keep people invested. Then investors could expect about a 5-6% return during times of even average inflation.

I dumped a bunch of "safe" money into a 4.4% CD (three years). A lot of our money is in low-risk, non-volatile investments... It's nice to see better returns in that category.

My financial advisor shifted my accounts to cash/bonds/gold/silver

He wants to be conservative until the markeet factors are in a better place.

Most of my stocks investments are in index funds... have a bit of precious metals... then real estate properties...

focusing on paying down some debt this year... still doing some investing in my retirement accounts, but not going to be as aggressive investing this year... rather focus on my debt a bit...

Invested in a process, ok not a process of separation, being set aside from this worlds' good in uhh, in relationing with Jesus Christ through :adjective: failures.
therefore invested in careening through the obstacles re@uired to not take part in so many of this worlds :adjective: schemes.

Real estate (short term rentals), stocks (but moving a lot of money out of those), physical gold and silver. Still have some crypto, I bought a lot of it a long time ago so I'm still in the green on Bitcoin and Ethereum.

Hocking Hills in Logan, but you already knew that :-)

We have 1 live for a year and a half, another one going live this weekend hopefully, and a major 3-4 month renovation starting in a month or so for our third one. First one is a 4br 2ba, second is a tiny home log cabin 1br 1ba, and the third will be a 3br 1ba.

Yours are beautiful, seen many posts on FB if them.

Nice! I wish I would have bought into Tesla years ago... when they first started getting up and running I thought about investing but passed... same with Bitcoin... I heard about them when I was in college and didn't really understand crypto... so I didn't invest in crypto until a couple years ago... so far have a pretty strong loss in crypto smile.... figure it'll either go up at some point or I'll just sell my position to off set some capital gains...

Retired so we are shifting to more conservative stuff. Muni blue chips, three-year CD's, looking at TIPS, hoping we have a better year this year. Trying to sock some away for shares and certs.

I bought gold years ago. I always wanted 10lbs of the stuff. It took a while, but finally got there in the mid 90's. The first coins I bought were for $483 ea. Wow. Seemed like a lot when I was buying them.

Now, mostly cash and bond positions, but I still hold investment in McDonalds and a little in Exxon. MCD is the stock that got me going, so I still hold a fairly large block of that.
