I don't think he was signing the last time he was coherent, I think he was 9.

I said a quarter of the way to coherent, I think he might have been there in his twenties.

i dunno if anyone has heard of Iron & Wine but theyre a pretty obscure band i really like. lead singer is Sam Beam, he's got a great voice.

Also...he reminded me of Simon & Garfunkel. those guys harmonized with the best of them.

Iron & Wine does some harmony stuff on their albums thats also really good.

This guy is so good live too

I've always thought Scott Stapp had an amazing voice. But...thats exactly where it stopped.

Outside of his voice that guy is terrible. Everything about him

That he was a problematic enough person to get kicked out of his band Creed.

That he could get sued by a guy for putting on a horrible show because he was a complete waste case

That he has been in rehab a few times for alcoholism

that he is supposedly a christian singer promoting positive ideals but was arrested for domestic abuse.

he beat his wife

he beat his wife

he beat his wife

I really dont like that guy....its a bummer because he does have a great voice.

I never heard any of that stuff. That's pretty messed up.

I know that he co-wrote almost all (if not all) of Creed's songs. Shame that a talented guy is so screwed up.

absolutely! its a shame

I forgot about one!

Zack De La Rocha from Rage Against the Machine!!!!!! He has one of the most distinct voices of modern rock.

also, speaking of Rage...Tom Morello the guitarist has a solo project titled The Nightwatchman, and his voice is very very good.

How about Serj Tankian (lead singer of System of a Down, also has a solo album now) His voice is amazing too. A little weird, but good. Good luck trying to sing like him

This thread kind of died a day or two ago but last night I was thinking of one that i can t believe no one mentioned.

BOB SEEGER

Speaking of Seeger the lead singer of 3 days down is one of his proteges and Seeger wrote this song for them and sings part of the chorus. One of my favorite rock ballads of all time

Geoff Tate gets my vote. I've never heard a better rock singer. Ian Gilliam is a candidate as well.

I really enjoy them. The thing I like most about is they are one of the few bands me and my wife can agree on and enjoy together.

Yeah they were me and my ex's favorite band. She was with me at all of their concerts. She got us right up front every time too. She actualy has the 3 doors down diamond on the back of here neck. Wasn't a big fan of that but whatever. The green superman symbol with the letter 3 in it instead od an s. Can't seem to find a picture.
