OK shocker for y'all. Most of you know I like my beer. Been drinking beer for 48 years. However due to more health problems I had to give up all alcohol as of Nov 21st of last year. Yep I still have some beer in my fridge that I have left sit for 145 days without touching it. I have been trying some NA beers and like All Free but at 13.99 for a 6 pack I won't be buying it again. The other three I can drink in order are
1. Coors Edge
2. Heineken 0.0
3. Budweiser zero

Anybody have any suggestions for NA beers? I don't like IPA's or dark beers.

I had to retire from all of it years ago.

As far as a reasonable NA beer: there is absolutely none, nor will there ever be.

It would assume it's kinda like diet pop. It's not the same ..... but over time it becomes almost preferable to regular pop.

Aside from them all being watered-down crap that you're grossly over-paying for, my sincerest advice is to just find another beverage that you can enjoy in social situations. It may take a while to find one you like, but I do recommend avoiding drinks that remind you of, or are facsimiles of, things you used to drink. i.e. if you used to drink rum & cokes, don't take up drinking coke with a lime.... all you're really doing is making it harder on yourself while paving the road to "just try it one more time".

My go-to drink for relaxing and sipping these days is a bottle of Ginger Beer. They aren't nearly as sweet/sugary as most sodas, and the ginger bite almost forces me to just sip them slowly. I've gone an entire evening at parties just having two of them, and I find it surprisingly enjoyable.

My father was in a similar situation as you are, and I have to agree with the people here and find something else to drink. He sat there drinking O'douls with a scowl on his face repeatedly saying, "this is like @#$% kissin' your sister!"

Oh I found four already that I like the taste of. I'm just looking for more since bars, restaurants, and stores don't all carry the same brands.

I do. For the most part gave up drinking due to liver problems for 2 years. I have had a small amount, but still abstain 95% of the time, but have gotten to the point of screw it, something is going to kill me and the longer I go the Dr's keep adding things I don't need to do. Don't eat red meat, bread, this or that....well, screw it...I am not going to die eating lettuce and drinking filtered water. Living longer isn't worth it if you don't live.

I always liked Guiness. The NA version is the best on the market. Guiness has always been fairly light and low on alcohol, so this is the bomb. My go to beer.

The Haze by Sam Adams is a pretty darn good IPA.

As for anything else, I settled on Bush NA. Bush was always a pretty flavorless beer, so this tastes just like the real deal.
